Sin, join the TS next time - there were plenty of us on, 16 or 17.  Two races were run so you could have easily joined for the 2nd at least.

Well done to Paul, driving the Lamborghini in both races, with the clear pace advantage, taking out both poles and both wins.
Stan had the fastest lap time in race 1, in the BMW Z4, while Michael F had the fastest lap in race 2, again in the BMW Z4.

My internet connection died with about a minute left in Quali and only really came back about 20 minutes ago. Massive pain in the arse.

Unfortunately some damaged ribs from a recent mountain bike accident into a tree saw me out tonight.  But should be good to go for next week.

Bad luck fellas. AJ, I feel your pain after last week. Freezer, I came home from a mountain bike trip covered in blood one time, courtesy of hitting a protruding root which pitched me over the handlebars, onto the rocky path. But it was just grazes.

The racing was good. Very close, with quite a few packs. I had several hard fought battles, on people's bumpers struggling to make a pass stick, which left me sweaty, so I'm really looking forward to the season.

I tried the Nissan (my first choice), which was fast and loose, and also the Z4, which felt very stable and grippy, but marginally slower - maybe more downforce.

Good fun, happy with the Audi... biggest issue was no track time before last night with this car.

Still, a few more hours on track and more setup tweaking should get that time down a bit more :)

Great field and will be interesting to see the cars all perform differently on each track... was already evident last night  ;D

We had a great race Rolz. I couldn't pressure you into a mistake, and couldn't find a pass.

I've found in the Nissan at least, that fiddling with the setup hasn't really gained me a heap of time.

Yeah was tops! Either chasing or being chased is probably the best part of racing here... plenty of close skill matchups so it makes it so more enjoyable than just trying to punch out PB's all the time...

Don't get me wrong that's fun too!! :P but getting that "looking in the rear-view mirror" sweat going certainly gives me one hell of a buzz as the brain is just on overload to keep it all together  ;D

Excellent night of the racings for the StanDaamage!!  :D
Got a pair of 2nds and a got the hunter award for both races (I loves the huntings!! blowtorch - on!!)

Race 1, went with the BMW, had my first lap on softs in qually and they worked a treat for that one lap. Started just behind Paul in his Lambo and that's where I stayed till the finish. We had some tight moments, but he stayed cool and didn't stuff up and took the win.

Race 2, jumped into the Audi, got lazy and stayed on my meds for qually, started 4th, slotted into 5th behind Fozzy (Michael F) when the race got going. Had another excellent battle for virtually the whole race with Fozzy, tucked up behind him with ma blowtorch on full!! Got lucky at the end, hard luck Fozzy, well done to Paul out front again in his mighty Lambo.

Love the GT3's, tough track to pass at Vallelunga but still heaps of fun seeing where everyone has their strengths and weaknesses!!
 :P :D :P

Who is this Paul? Could he be a GB slayer?  :o

You're right Joe!!
Paul is the chosen one for sure!!
But one must first defeat Marty (GB's evil minion) to get a shot at taking down the dreaded GB!!

It's good to have some more challengers at the pointy end.  Don't forget Matthew either. Struggle Street Racing Crew have been playing their cards close to their chest.

Racing was fun for the most part. Got turned around by Michael F towards the end of the first lap of race one, was a pity too. I left him more than a cars width he still managed to hit me. Could have been an awesome battle for the the final podium position too had it not ended before it even really started. Managed to recover to seventh position, but damage to the front splitter during the aforementioned contact meant I struggled for the rest of the race, especially through turn one and for straight line speed. Had some good battles with Phil, Wally and Bird. The pass for seventh with about three laps to go had Bird and me side by side for three quarters of a lap.

Grabbed the Audi for race two, had only done a handful of laps at Vallelunga in the R8. Was following Bird and Wally again after some close racing with Bach and Rolz. Unfortunately Wally caught the curb in front of me and I couldn't avoid contact. What resulted was a pretty lurid slide that left me on the racing line and in the path of Bach, a pretty spectacular T boning meant my car and my patience were toast.

Thanks for the racing guys. Hopefully people show a little more patience when the series starts.

'twas good fun indeed.  I'm surprised how close these cars are to each other, altho the lack of turn-in under braking on the Nissan is a bit annoying.  For the 2nd race I have churned up the rear rollbar one click and it has helped a little, but now the car was prone to slide into the corner, which is a bit over the top :D

I had a couple of door bangers, too, just slight touches - it's good that you can do that without paying a high price for it.

Same as Wally, I'm bummed why a lot of setup changes don't have a more profound effect on the car (eg camber!) but I also found it amazing that if you dare to put your food down, it comes out of the corners amazingly well, somewhat sliding the rear but not enough to lose it - you just need to be sure you'll not run wide, as taking your foot off the loud pedal just makes things worse, so there's no recourse at that point.

WD Paul, hope you guys have lots of fun at the pointy end with GB, Marty & Phil - and possibly others, too ;)
I can seldom keep up with them.
