What would be good is a 'lite' version of Wally's parser that is launched from Joe's manager. Then we don't need stracker. We only need simple results for Thursday's - so Flattop and I can keep up ;)

I think you can call my parser from the command line and it will return HTML, from memory. What kind of results do you need? Just finish positions?
Wally (and Joe), I think just finish positions at first but also the ability to display the season results and points tally eventually. I was thinking that an integration of Joe's manager with your results/league blog would be nice. Idea is to try and remove manual work from the process where possible.

If Joe's manager could execute your parser once a race is finished and then display the results on the manager web interface that would be a real step forward.

Definitely possible, I'm running the acServer process as a child process in node so my node code is constantly checking the output anyway to work out a few different things.

I still seem to have trouble parsing out the current session though! As you can see the web manager currently says:

Current Session: Qualify SENDING session index : 0 SEN

Do you use the output log or the new UDP plugin interface?

a "Site Admin issue" I have sent a message to one of the "all powerful ones" to fix your email inbox, not uncommon here :(
What I was going to send you:
Quote
no, not too late, qual will be 8:15 melbourne time
the 2 races are more sprints
if some is a little late, 5-10 minutes will restart if we know they are arriving,
so all good Cal.

Normally we are finished before 10pm Melbourne time.
It is all about some fun sprints, still competitive, we will weigh down any who are waaaay too fast from sprint one to bring the filed together, infact the aliens always request the weight to add to the challenge.

due to tech difficulties, the server will have "XGN Joe's " and maybe "Thursday"  we will be there.
cheers,
Bruce
and same old password applies if you need it....
fast

Cheers mate. I've yet to venture online with AC yet, so hopefully I can work it out in time. Not downloaded the track yet either :)

Once one online grid, just filter on xgn
I'll keep an eye on the forum as I know you normally don't have ts.xgn.comes.au

I have had to terminate my AWS server instance. I think something was corrupted or else I have reach the limit of bandwidth or cpu for the free period. I'll try again with a new instance but i think it may just have run out :(
