It's the most fun car I've ever had, a real joy to drive. I can strongly recommend you guys get one, too. ...then we can hit the tracks together and re-create these races Logged Phil.8 RestrictedRacing Hero Member Posts: 4158 Karma: 62 Δ8 Re: S11R6: Vallelunga Classic post-race chat « Reply #16 on: May 18, 2016, 09:30:25 AM » Saw one the other day, looks pretty cool. Does it feel like it has power, I am sure a real one would scare me on a track , or did it just feel gutless in game, because umm its a game with no sense of speed ? and its a road car at heart ? I am just interested how AC feels compared to real one Logged The sun is the same in a relative way but you're older Bird Administrator Hero Member Posts: 2324 Karma: -666 Ysu Re: S11R6: Vallelunga Classic post-race chat « Reply #17 on: May 18, 2016, 09:41:59 AM » Quote from: Phil.8 on May 18, 2016, 09:30:25 AM Saw one the other day, looks pretty cool. I am just interested how AC feels compared to real oneAC feels dull compared The things is very lively, precise and turns very well - and I'm using the factory tyres, which are poo-poo'ed all over the interwebs. It does drive like in AC, and loves to corner with throttle, so AC is fairly realistic, but you don't get the same feeling. It's not a powerhouse, but it's enough for starters. You can do donuts if that's your heart's desire Those complaining, I reckon, are mostly young ones who want to win street drags with their sport cars against XR6 turbos or v8s. That won't happen.I've seen people installing stupidly huge wheels and at the same time complaining about lack of acceleration. Hello, you idiot, you just gave a good chunk of it away! But hey;- you can install a header + tune + use E85 fuel, and get a ~30 whp extra out of it, which is plenty enough, and this isn't a very expensive option. - or you can throw on a supercharger or a turbo (there are bolt-on superchargers available!) And get a lot of extra. (this is more expensive, though)So really, it's just a question of money...for the $30k price this is a lot of fun and a lot of car IMO (although I maybe slightly biased here, hehe)Edit: Crimespree has done a few mods to it, and has his car modeled in-game, you can try it, check here for the d/l link:http://xgn.com.au/index.php?topic=1418.msg25748#msg25748It must be very exciting to drive that one IRL ! « Last Edit: May 18, 2016, 09:46:24 AM by Bird » Logged Phil.8 RestrictedRacing Hero Member Posts: 4158 Karma: 62 Δ8 Re: S11R6: Vallelunga Classic post-race chat « Reply #18 on: May 18, 2016, 09:58:50 AM » Thanks Bird. How many TV's do you watch at once? Another great vid. Thanks.Hehe I had a good run and decided to take it and put some trust in me and the others, needed all those angles to see how it was possible there was no contact as it looked rather tight and sketchy at the time. I kind of got a shock as there was no contact reported especially when many other races I have had a few but can barely remember any of them as they must all have been very light rubs.
