Well, in ACC, the onset of rain adds a huge strategic element, as in real life - when do you pit for wets?

His basic argument is it makes it too hard. ::)
(and from looking at his driving that appears to be true, for him)
The most unrealistic thing in sim-racing is constant grip (nothing more-so than 100% which doesn't exist IRL :-X ).
So if it doesn't include dynamic track, then it is overrated.
But if something alters the grip lap by lap (rubber, temperature, rain, etc.), then that is essential for a 'simulator', not so much for a 'game'.
