I just couldn't keep up, I would get past people in corners and then get passed on the straights or was held up in corners and lost it down the straights losing even more time, half way through race 1 I knew it was going to be a dropped round and just did laps
I know I was one of those drivers where you had that scenario. If anyone has Race 2 replay files would be greatly appreciated. I've got the settings sorted out now so should be right in the future. Had some great close racing with KCender87; finished with a 0.07s margin (he trumped me). snagged this out of the 2 minutes of replay footage I saved locally.

I'm in regardless of what and where we're racing  That said; I was going to suggest a Bathurst run in the escorts - perhaps even a team based event? (I have no idea how or even if AC can support team based racing i.e. 2 drivers for 1 car)

Thanks for a great night of racing lads. Managed to get some half decent consistency which was my biggest issue in practice during the week.
Wally, question for you - what do the graphs mean in the results post? I think I have them figured out...
Full write up will come at a later time. Still trying to work out how the A/C replay files work. I have 5 files (one for each session tonight but they all seem to be the very end of the session :S

I am  what are you playing, I play BF1 most nights after a drive and thinking about getting lawbreakers atm
Cool, any of you guys can add me on origin if you like. Same name, I still get on bf1 a bit, not as much now that some friends have moved to pubg (couldn't get into that one). Play the occasional round of overwatch and used to finish a night off with a round or two of rocket league...don't you judge me lol☺️

I've just added you both on Origin I tried and persisted but eventually gave up on BF1 and reverted back to BF4 - much better game in my opinion. See you on track.

Evening lads, my 3yo is sick and 16wk old is being hard work tonight.
Definitely won't be on for qualifying, hoping to make start of race 1, but "should almost definitely" be there for race 2 start.

I've been hunting through gumtree for a little while trying to scope out a potential upgrade. the fanatec gear was on the Gold Coast (i'm up Redcliffe way) so wanted to make the drive worthwhile. A last minute search saw me throw a long shot offer on a Thrustmaster setup.
Scored a Thrustmaster TX wheel and standard pedals, T3PA pedal set and a TH8A shifter for the $50 more than the fanatec gear was going to cost me so I jumped on that (turns out the two kits were 5 mins away from each other location wise).
The only downside, the guy I bought it off had it setup on xbone and as such he no longer has the DIN->USB adapter plug for the shifter and it's essentially useless without it offering sequential only. Hoping TM support can sort me out a new cable.
Tested the kit (sans shifter for a few laps tonight.. holy hell what a difference in feel to the G27. The wheels is an HUGE upgrade, pedals i'm on the fence about - just a different feel I guess, and the shifter will need to hold judgement (I know its going to be awesome and I already miss the h shifter. clutch plus paddles in the escort is really unko so expect to see me at the back of the back for the rest of the season...

Evening lads/ladies, I've got the chance to upgrade my sim gear. Currently using a G27 but there's a Fanatec GT2 with CSR Elite pedals nearby for the right price. The gear is approx 2 years old but hardly used for the past 12 months. Any known issues with the Fanatec gear? I know the pedals alone are worth the upgrade (load cell goodness) but the wheel. The only downside is no shifter (i've grown quite accustomed to the H pattern). Happy to hear anyone's thoughts Cheers, GH

Managed to have a better evening than expected. Ended up with two races of great side by side racing with Mael. I owe an apology to RussG, we had a very small trade paint but then I overcooked the spike slightly; tapped into Rolz (I think) who ended up spinning Russ off. Was so dirty at causing it. I ended up with a damaged front (and rear courtesy of a kiss coming off the bank onto the start/finish straight) which slowed my top speed down considerably on the back straights. The last half third of the race was 'interesting' and i think can be summed up as follows: flat out with damaged aeros means slower on straights. can hold good pace through the twisty bits, all the while having a car that's lighter and tailier as the rears were flogging out. Needless to say, it was great! And I'm looking forward to the season ahead

Qually is always at 8:30pm Eastern, but the server will be up for practice from about 6:00pm-ish.
Thanks Wally! Hey lads. Quick question from the newbie here. How does one share setups on ptracker? Ive had some nice ppl offer setups on the practice server. Ive got ptracker turned on but no idea how to share/have stuff shared to me. Any pointers would be greatly appreciates

Thanks Rolz, i managed to get it up and saw your setup you'd posted - thank you... managed to shave a second of my pb on lap 2 (still a long way of leader pace though - i presume the rest is driver  )

A combination of sick daughter and aqld health "we need this really time detailed (read:time consuming to do) document reviewed by tomorrow" task is trying to boycott my plans of racing for the evening.

Hey gents, thanks for the fun evening. Was an experience and I'm looking forward to racing through the season with you.
Sorry about the dropout in race 2. No idea what happened but got a total pc crash. Figured it wasn't worth trying to reboot and join in.
