Just after the 3rd last corner I get a massive burst of static and some high pitch beeps (sounds like birds chirping), then nothing at all until half way up the straight. ???
It happens every lap like clockwork, but only online (no issues at all offline).
It makes it very hard to maximize the last 2 corners, with no tyre scrub feedback.

Any way to stop the car skipping through several of the corners, or is the track just that bumpy?

To my memory, the track has always been that bumpy, even in different versions. Especially that right hander at the end of the back straight.
