Race Sim Studios are offering the Formula 79 ground effects car for FREE at the moment.
It's for the first 1979 people, black Friday sale.
I highly recommend it, as I do for almost all their mods.
Now an Important bit of information to remember. This is a fun mod. It is not a racing car. You cannot drive it like a racing car. You will need to learn to drive this as it is like no other car in AC. It is an atomic battery powered multi turbine car. Think of the 4 gears as 4 stages of turbine and don't be in a rush to change up (you'll see why)
I haven't tried it (due to the "It is not a racing car"), but the "atomic battery powered multi turbine" sounds interesting.
Very stable by default but with a bit of Bacchification she can be made nasty (though not full widowmaker).
Now this is my era of F5000.
I just need some Lola's to go with it.
A great movie about a lesser known Australian motorsport legend, Alfredo Costanzo.
He is hardly ever mentioned now days, but I remember dad talking about him in the '70s, in his rise.
It also shows how F1 is not always the best drivers in the world, just the one's with access to money (looking at you Lance).
Anyone else keen to see this get started this weekend?
I'm stoked Rubinho came over, and he seems to be getting to grips with it:
“In the first session the car was definitely taking me around, and in the second session I was taking more control. And the smile comes to my face. It’s a great feeling to be able to conquer the world.”

Good reviews, nice screenshots, my first 7 laps felt good.
A very interesting write up.
A great, fictional short track which looks good and drives well:
