I am keen for either LMP1 or Escort, I do however think Escort will be more fun to race

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S17R5: Zandvoort Post-Race Chat« on: June 29, 2017, 03:19:40 PM »and from there on focused on irritating Kero as mush as possible. Sorry Kero someone had to suffer for my misfortunes All good Mael, you did some good defensive driving Race 1 Probably could've qualified a bit better but wanted to focus on running my race setup. In saying that I was happy to qualify 3rd (I think). Made a clean start behind Mathew and just after turn 1 was trying to hold my line and think I slightly rubbed tyres with Grat. After that, cant remember what lap it was but made a mistake and made contact with a wall so I took the opportunity to pit and repair my car. I could go on but long story short, very happy to come in 2nd in the first race. Race 2 Think from my position shortly after the start (with a bit of luck) I was in a good position to push for a win considering Mathew was a couple of places behind me, but as usual I got a bit excited got on the gas a bit early and put it into the wall. Made my way back to the pits repaired my car and then proceeded to chase Mael for the rest of the race, I could catch him but couldn't find my way past, then I would make a mistake trying to pass and the process would repeat ALL RACE Well done Mael Anyway, I'm having a great time racing with you all, can't wait for the next race! 6

Oh, so it going to be warmer 7

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S17R4: Mugello Post-Race Chat« on: June 21, 2017, 03:15:34 PM »Dismal night...! Sorry about that Freezer, taking myself out was one thing, but hate the idea of taking someone with me! Onto my races: R1 Had a few good setups and was feeling comfortable with this combo, but as was the same as last week got a bit excited and got on the gas a bit early coming out of turn 3 losing the back, spinning into the wall and taking Freezer out in the process. R2 Got too excited and didn't select my race set up and was stuck on my qualifying set up instead, leaving me with 6 litres of fuel Other than that and a few minor mistakes I was reasonably happy with race two. Morale of the story, I still have a lot to learn, but am enjoying every moment of it 9
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S17R4: Mugello« on: June 20, 2017, 07:12:21 PM »The wind's going to be about twice as strong in race 2, blowing roughly along the straight from behind, so we might notice a difference in downforce in the afternoon race. Hopefully I can be consistent tonight 10

Thank you both Bacchulum and Simone, think that was the problem. Had my set up all done but didn't have the tyres selected... 11

It's good for a few laps, not sure how it will go over 20 laps though..Go for a fast track. You can check out the forecast via the link in the first post, go to the Tuesday tab and look at 13:00. Current forecast is 27 and clear. Cheers Wally, will give that a crack 12

Congrats to Shayne for holding it together on the grass, though. I would have spun and take both cars out! That's it, really. I didn't know Shayne was there and should have noticed him on Helicorsa. Hey Wally, no old pit apps... its strange because i did a singleplayer race and pitted no problem but tried in the race on the practice sever the other day and driving into the pits doesnt't seem to work for me... 14

I want to set up the track to simulate the race day track, can somebody let me know what settings I should use, ie green, dusty? And temp 15
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S17R3: Spa post-race chat« on: June 14, 2017, 09:07:24 AM »Not trying to get anybody in trouble, but are there any penalties for adding fuel?I think it was just an innocent mistake. KeRo added 8 litres in race 1. Thanks Wally, that's right.. Not sure how the whole pits thing works, I set up my pit strategy to add no fuel then I pitted and it still added it.... If anyone could let me know how to pit properly that would be greatly appreciated On to my races: Firstly, thanks for the races everyone! Even though I had a shocker in both races I really enjoyed the night. Not much to summarise really, Race One: Started fairly well but struggled to get heat in the tyres so was really hard to keep a consistent pace. On lap 4 came out of turn 9 and got on the gas a bit early thus putting myself in the wall. Race Two: Started near the back of the grid, was a clean start and was making up time on the car in front coming into turn 10 but was probably a bit deep under breaks when the door was closed, made slight contact with the car in front and went into the barrier. Morale of the story, I still have a lot to learn when it comes to actually racing, not just hot lapping... So I hope you can all bare with me (and help please) while I learn the finer art of racing Quick question, was the race server set up the same as the practice server? I had a pretty good setup on the practice server, but when I came to the race server I pretty much had to rush to fix my setup to make it work, and I struggled big time....
