CHEATING!!
Well clearly it didn’t work as I had a shocker! In the first race I was tailgating Joe and was able to go side by side in the right hairpin and we touched resulting in Joe in the fence and me with no front end….I couldn’t believe how fragile these cars are! Race two wasn’t much better when I stuffed up and hit Joe in the same corner ruining his race. Totally my fault. I got caught out by how early Joe broke into that right hander as it was a fair amount before I was and after watching the replay I think a lot of this was due to how we took the previous corner so differently, in which Joe was a lot quick through it meaning he had to brake sooner, where as I was slower through the corner allowing me to brake later as I had less speed to wash off. No excuse, I stuffed up! Race 3 was frustrating. I knew I was quick but I wasn’t quick enough to put the car in a position to pass and after the previous race I was rather gun shy to try. Eventually I made a mistake at the right handed losing time and then spent the rest of the race watch the mirror trying to not impede Wally as he was about a second or so behind me but my lap times were slight quicker so I didn’t yield. In the end it really didn’t matter as I couldn’t catch anyone anyway. Hopefully next week is far less eventful

These cars seem mighty fast and extremely tricky about here….how many laps will the races be?

WOW, these are going to be tough races!
It's only a 55 second lap.
I know it's a short lap, but man-o-man it's busy, I was over 1 sec quicker when I changed from stick to paddle shift so I could hang on with 2 hands! I think my sim is going to need a full service after tonight as there are so many bumps and shakes coming from my wheel!

Good to hear your on the mend Bacchulum, it’s a shame we didn’t see bigger grids in these cars racing expirence was bloody good, you could race quickly and closely to one another and they were not that easy to pass in.
Of all the tracks this season, this was the one I liked the least. All those long and closing radius corners…..it felt like a Tike track, just without multiple chicanes. I found both of the reverse grid races quite tricky last night because I was quicker in the parts where you couldn’t pass and so for the greater part of the 2nd race it was a case of tailgate and hope and by the time the opportunity arose the leaders were too far down the road to catch.
The 3rd race was more of the same and despite catching up to AGK I was unable to put a pass on him. I did try at the final corner of the final lap, but couldn’t do it. I really needed another lap but there wasn’t one so kudos to him for a great drive.
Thanks for all your efforts Wally in finding these tracks (all of which I’d never driven before) which must have taken quite some time, your efforts were greatly appreciated.

That was a very tough night....I simply could not transfer my pace from the practice server over to the race server in what felt like an extremely frustrating evening. Well done to Wally and Freezer, I have no idea how you found all that speed in qualifying but power to you, those laps were awesome! All night it felt like I was within a second of someone either being infront of or behind which made those 12 lap races feel extreamly long! That said, I just felt I was lacking when it came to outright speed to make a pass as the majority of my passes came in the opening couple of laps usually from the mistakes of others. Then from about lap 4 onwards (in each race) I felt like I'd have the pace to get level and catch through the corners but then had nothing off the corners to fight with down the straights.... very much swings and round-a-bouts I guess - these cars need a V8! That said I'm shocked with my points haul as I certainty didn't think I'd come away with that many, but a thoroughly enjoyable (despite stressful) night

This is a cracker of a track Wally and I think there is even more time there….. well according to the delta there is but I keep stuffing up that 2nd u-turn and losing 0.5 seconds! This could be a very tricky track to pass on as its all going to be done on braking and power down

I just spotted in the overall stats that Bradc cracked 202 races here and I rolled over 602. 
Wow, who would have thought that as clearly I had no idea That’s a lot of good race nights

That felt like a bit of a strange night from my side, despite the results saying otherwise. Yes my pole position was a mighty low fuel, max risk lap, I then decided to try a couple of set up changes which just didn't work and whilst I could do another high 3, they were never going to beat my pole lap - I just wished I'd saved that replay as that was an absolute cracker!
Race 1 was nothing short of tedious and completely nerve racking! I still don't think I know where the braking marker is for turn 1, nor am I sure I know the best spot is to go to full throttle off the last. AGK never was more than about 1 second off me for the whole race and he drove mistake free! At one stage there I wished I knew where the button was to turn the mirror off as he was rather distracting!
Race 2 - I made a slight tyre pressure adjustment for the different conditions and I ended up going too low on the front left corner. All race the tyre pressure was 1 pounder under where it needed to be and my pace showed! I had nothing to fight with and once I'd got up to 4th place it really was a game of follow the leader. Mael could make a pass on Bacchulum in front and then he's lose it again but I could never get close enough to attempt a pass on Mael.....I just waited out my time until lap 13 when those in front had their little 'moment' at turn 1 and I was able to do a Bradbury and get past but bloody Mael was still in front and I had nothing to fight him with! Eventually I was able to make a pass into the 3rd corner when he ran wide and despite Mael's superior straight line speed I was able to hold him off for another win!
Race 3 - I think I was a little bit arrogant....rather than just alter the tyre pressures and race on, I decided to tinker with the setup - B I G Mistake! I decided to stiffen the ARB and dropped the diff settings in the coast, hoping that would help by giving me better turn in.... it didn't! All this did was make the car very loose in the rear on turn in and extremely unstable during trail braking, especially into the long right turn 3. Needless to say, I struggled and then I struggled badly. What didn't help was losing part of my front splitter in the lap 1, turn 1 incident but after that the car just wasn't fast! In the end I spun off and then spent the rest of the race trying to catch the battle for 3rd. I could not see the end of this race soon enough, but a lot of learning will come out of this one.
Another good night and it was great to see another new racer on track in Pumpkin

Was a tough track for pole sitter, they would always be under pressure at turn 2 as the drivers behind will benefit from the draft.
I yep, I had plenty of pressure during the night with cars very close on the exit of the last turn and they would more often than not they'd be ready to pass by the braking zone of that corner, but getting by cleanly was the extremely difficult part! I think if that turn 2 had some banking that would have allowed for a bit cleaning racing, but granted you, Freezer and I had an epic battle through there on the opening lap of race 3.

That wasn’t too bad a track, if only turn 2 had some banking (which would have made 2-wide racing a lot better) and that chicane wasn’t there I would have loved this place. It’s a shame the grid numbers are so low as these cars are really good in close combat.
Race 1 - I’d love to see a replay of the start of race one because I felt I was run off the road, but the video might show otherwise. I then fought hard to recover and made it back to 2nd.
Race 2 - During the race was able to get side by side with AGK but couldn’t safely make a move which wouldn’t result in contact, in the end I tried to out brake into turn 2 and contact meant I was off cutting grass again. After watching the video it shows that I tried to drive into a gap which wasn’t there and should have backed off to fight another day. The charge back from near last was a lot of fun as you could get super close without really hurting the tyres so it was a lot of fun.towards the end of this race I was unable to pass Mael for the win however when it spun at the final corner I tried to avoid him but the back of this car sent me into a spin sending up back to the rear. The race back to the front was a lot of fun, but we would have needed about 10 more laps for that to happen gifting Freezer the win.
Race 3 - I had some good battles the opening lap running 3 wide was sensational. I kept my nose clean and was able to get a good lead and despite a couple of close shaves as the tyres got a little worn and I managed to pull off a win! From the rear view mirror it looked like Freezer and AGK were having a tremendous battle, until one of them appeared to spin. For this race I tried a setup change (a lot more ARB) and whilst it gave me better tyre life I found the car very twitchy under power down at the apex.
