Hey all,
I'm sure a lot will know already but Wakefield Park in Goulburn NSW was shut down a number of weeks ago due to restrictions placed on the track.
This left SMP as the only permanent race circuit in all of NSW.
Now i'm by no means involved in this petition to save it but Wakefield is closer to me than SMP and it would be a shame to see it leave the NSW motorsport scene like Oran Park did. It would also be farcical that a big state like NSW only has one permanent circuit across the whole thing.
They need 20,000 signatures and over half way there so far & I thought XGN would be a good supportive spot to secure more signatures to the cause.

What a jip, why can't I give my support?
The same happened to Lakeside, but it managed to hang on some how, and now it has enough events to warrant a recent, full resurface.
There is hope, we need all the tracks we have in Australia.
