Hi Guys,
Rob, Robin, Westie07 here.
I'm 65 y.o. from Brisbane, and until my beloved wife (Lyn) passed away a few years ago I had been her full-time Carer for about 10 years.
I started Sim racing with GPL which totally consumed all my spare time. But real life happened and I lost motivation and commitment. Discovered NetKar and all the great guys at XGN and competed in several seasons and after lots of practice managed to improve my skills to very average. The older I got the faster I was, and for the first time in my stellar Sim racing career I now find that I am constantly 3 to 4 seconds off the pace of the "Aliens". Getting old sucks lol.
I do my best to avoid contacts, will give racing room to faster drivers and never intentionally block. Sim racing is supposed to be fun and when I start taking it to seriously it will be time to give it up.
The "Westie" nick started several years ago when Lyn and I bought a secondhand Westfield Clubman (check out my Avatar). Unfortunately I only drive it about once a month, too many memories.
My main interests at present are music and my Church, where I play bass guitar, guitar or drums, wherever I am needed. Music influences have gone from heavy rock and jazz to blues and jazz. I guess a result of my changed personal situation.
Apart from owning 2 of the best guitars ever made my hobby now is making electric guitars. I find it very therapeutic and WAY cheaper than a therapist.

Hey Wally, I don't know if this is a "big ask", if it is don't worry about it, but is it possible you could post a small pic of the team skins so we don't choose the same/similar skin? Sort of defeats the object of teams if they are too similar. Gotta know who to block, you know your main competitor is always your team mate  Cheers mate rob

Sorry about the hits on Rob and SpeedFreak in the Ferrari. The SpeedFreak hit was a sloppy track re-entry on my part.
No probs Wally, T1 at Monza was always going to be ....... interesting. I had a great night. Seeing MP is still Alpha, AC shows great promise for the future. We desperately need "drafting", hopefully will be implemented soon. Thanks for organizing Wally. rob

Hi Wally,
I realize it's a bit late to be suggesting this, but do you think it might be an idea for everybody to use default skins, at least for the first race? In case it goes belly up at least we can rule out one of the variables.

Hey Wally,
Tried a couple of times to get race on the XGN server, once I "Booked" but nobody else joined, the second time the Server was already in Practice Mode with only one person in it and of course I was unable to join.
I had an idea, and shoot me down if it sucks, but if the server is running 24/7, what say we have a standing schedule if anybody feels like a race we check out the server, say on the hour, or every 2 hours, that way we might be able to hook up?
Just a thought.
