I wonder if mixing in a slow easy to drive car would help the guys struggling with the pace of the gt cars, I dont have any idea of what maybe bmw m235i, mx5 cup or something similar. If there is anyone that would like to race but finds the gt cars a bit much at Nords it could be an option even though its late notice.

Having spent a bit of time in the server there are a few guys struggling to get around 2 consecutive laps so maybe a slow easier car may work and also add some mixed class traffic. Numbers overall arent huge yet but I think theres a few rooz guys like cherno possibly a couple more that may join still.

Hes on the very edge of how much curb you can use, getting on the lower part of most of them is ok but not many you can go high up or over. I dont think he had any more road he could use anywhere its impressive driving. Only person that could likely beat this would be SVG if he ever got to run Nords but he isnt qualified to race there even as a Blancpain enduoro champion.


That lap probably isnt a great example for people to try and copy as it needs some amazing skill to pull that off even in a sim. To do it for real takes massive balls as you said, maybe they help lower the cog. 

Its a handy app look into customising it there lots of stuff you can put in. Only thing that didnt work for me was grip level which is a shame as that would be handy to have.

I use Wally's tyre pressure engineer in practice or whenever I get in a new car mostly to find ideal pressures, once I know the pressures I need just keeping an eye on the in game tyres app or the one on dashmeter is enough. For practice keeping it up to give an idea of pressures over a lap is usefull but once it comes to a race its not info I need. I use the ingame tyre app as it is easier to spot with colour changes in temps rather then trying to read numbers in a race, in a race main focus is on my delta time and delta to others. Keeping an eye on fuel and tyres with helicorsa over the mirror more just as a backup to cover the blindspots but I use mirrors more then helicorsa.

Helicorsa is good to see how much room your leaving to an overlapped car as its hard to judge distance to cars you cant see out the side or in the mirror. Its easy enough to race without it but then I tend to leave too much room so helicorsa helps me leave just enough.

The only way to go from C to B is to run close and clean with other cars, with the amount of laps I ran mostly solo here I went from A to C, but ran a few laps late with Cherno and got back my rating even though I haven't had a contact in the last 1000km.

Anyone unable to get into the server due to MR restriction wanting to race just let me know and I will add to the xgn whitelist, I have added Sin to the whitelist who is driving as Chris Harvey in game. All other XGN guys and most of the ROOZ guys should already be on the whitelist, this combo is likely to drop a few people to c grade unless they run some laps with others which is good practice to run in some traffic but if guys are trying to set a qualy lap they may not want to do this.   

I will change up the practice server car list for now will takeout the lotus and p4/5 then will add more of the cars people have selected. Its a bit tough with only 2 of each car in the server but if anyone wants thhose 2 cars in I will add at least 1 to the list. If they arent likely to be used it just means some may not be able to use the car they want if a few are already in.

Hi, been a while since I dropped in here. I would like to practice before I commit. Seems to be a problem with the track. I can't join the server because it says I have a different version. But when I try to run a private practice the car is just hanging in the purple space in the air falling.

Yup, I am new to this lol. If someone can point out what I am doing wrong I will try to cut some laps tonight. Porsche RSR 2017 for me. I will be able to try again Monday night, Tuesday and if all is well I will have posted a qualy lap by then.

I have also changed the server name to "Marty's XGN.com.au Nords Enduro practice(MR AB)+whitelist" as there is no longer another Tuesday practice server, nothing else has changed and also the link to times will still be the same.
