An exciting finale
-
You're the favourite Wally, making good use of those ballast points. ;)
-
No, you're the favourite, having won the last 3 series. I'm the underdog ;)
-
C'mon Wally, face the facts, last round:
My finishes: 1st, 2nd, 4th
Your's: 1st, 3rd, 7th
and still you pull away, due to all your depleted uranium!
You don't even have to beat me in the races to win Wally, clear favourite.
;)
-
Or, I'll run you both off and charge through for an amazing come back win (its only 26 points). . . :)
-
But because of the drop-a-round rule, I'll get 41.5 points, minimum, so you'll need 67 :o
So it would be an amazing comeback. ;)

Well done Wally on the championship . . Mr consistency!
Well I thought my night would be terrible as the car felt bad in the little bit of practice I did, and then on arrival its raining!!
However I managed to do a reasonable Qual and get 4th.
Race 1 I got a good jump and grabbed one spot and then a few laps later Dave spun and handed me second with Wally sailing away in the distance.
Race 2: I seemed to now have a bit of speed over Wally and was harassing him for a few laps but being mindful of taking him out the championship !! This was going well until a tank slapper on the last turn saw me last which then meant a last place start for R3.
R3 Bit of an up and down race in the end and surprisingly got home in 4th.
Congrats to everyone for a fun season.....

According to the stats I was the "Hunter" for the night. I was thinking last night How could such a small car
have such a large rear end, as it was very difficult to pass at Brands, and most if not all my passes were
capitalising on others minor mistakes, especially Dave Gibson in the last turn.
Race 1 I made an error in that same turn and it cost me big time, finished 6th.
Race 2 and race 3 made passes on the final lap to finish 1st and 2nd respectively.
Thanks Wally for the Season and a well deserved win for the Championship. Well done Dave and Glen for
2nd and 3rd.
-
Well done Wally, Glen and Dave, a good conclusion to yet another fantastic season.
The wet doesn't agree with me, my lack of throttle/brake finesse is certainly shown up. Race 3 in the dry and lack of weight allowed me to put some good laps but disappointed my self with a contact around lap 7.

Told ya so!
Even my best round and I couldn't close the gap.
Overall I had a good night and got as much as I could out of the car.
It wasn't enough, and I'm still having nightmares seeing S Perryman in my mirrors, pwned on the last lap, TWICE!!!! :o :P ;D
Well done to everyone for making this one of the best competitions I've driven in. 8) 8)
