Comparison video, showing the KTM X-Bow in real-life and Assetto Corsa side by side.
Unlike regular comparison videos, this one has a special twist as it features Kunos Simulazioni’s Aristotelis Vasilakos at the wheel of the car both in real life and in Assetto Corsa as he narrates his lap around the Modena circuit.

I almost thought Simone was commentating ;D
-
Ha ha!!
Uncanny!!
Simone is obviously Aristotelis under cover, seeing what it's like for the common folk!! :P

Did he say "Ah f*** Kunos" at any stage?
-
Worth it just for the commentary. ;D ;D
-
Don't mention the sun!!!!???? F*** the sun!!!
-
That's an impressive comparison.
”8 degrees. Can't get any heat into the tyres.”
Sound familiar? :)
-
He modded the in game car to match what happened in his real life experience. Not the same X-BOW we get to drive :)
-
We don't get Modena either. >:(

Or do we? It is a very good mod track. I've got my eye on it for next season if we go with a slow car.

That is also because the ktm he drove is modded and not stock.

Regarding tracks I dont see why we can only drive the shorter or tighter tracks in slower cars, I think its quite fun to drive any car at any track. We still have never driven Magione in any season and Zandvoort is also fun in most cars. Having a mix of tracks from big fast gp to smaller circuits makes each week a bit more interesting. We could quite easily have ran those in the gt3 season and then it would have meant some other cars may have been better in some rounds.
Slower cars on a big open track can provide fun racing thanks to drafting and also faster cars at smaller tracks can be more of a challenge.

Take the V8Supercars at Winton for instance.
-
Winton is one of their bigger tracks, how about Symmons plains, Adelaide, Sydney homebush, Barbagallo, Gold coast, Sandown. The only real big tracks they race would be Eastern creek, Philip Island and Albert park and Albert park I think is by far the worst track in Australia.
-
I think Mt Panorama is pretty big Marty. ;)
-
I quite like Albert Park myself.

I dont think it would be a great shame if the F1 moved to Philip Island, Bathurst or even back to Adelaide. Albert park to me is a very flat and repetitive circuit with no real good bits and lots of fairly average ones, for me its easily the worst track in the f1 season.
-
F1 at Philip Island would be something!
-
Bathurst can't get FIA certification for F1 and Philip Island hasn't got enough hotels for Bernie's approval. :-X

Might be long but didn't Dick Johnson liken it to racing around your clothesline, or was that before it was lengthened?
-
Phillip Island would be a great track for F1 but the infrastructure just isn't there to handle 200,000 people or whatever the figure is. The drivers would love it with its long, fast, swooping corners, and it would be very picturesque having the ocean and beach in the background.
