Hectic night with such a big field and lots of cars on a similar pace.Loving it though. No apologies needed mate, didn't affect my race at all really Logged Joe Moderator Hero Member Posts: 2368 Karma: 39 Re: Round 2: Thursday 13th October - Donington Park (National) « Reply #32 on: October 14, 2016, 09:18:04 AM » Quote from: Wally on October 14, 2016, 08:21:33 AMI simply pitted early because I wanted to be in traffic, which is more fun But for sure, to keep the best track position, you'd want to pit after building up a gap.I did guess that. Also takes away some of the possibility of people sandbagging. Not that I would accuse anybody of that, but in my opinion it's still better to have it as a built-in thing rather than to rely on an "honour system" of sorts.Just my 2c Logged Bacchulum RestrictedRacing Hero Member Posts: 3403 Karma: 96 Re: Round 2: Thursday 13th October - Donington Park (National) « Reply #34 on: October 14, 2016, 11:26:23 AM » Quote from: Wally on October 14, 2016, 08:21:33 AMI simply pitted early because I wanted to be in traffic, which is more fun But for sure, to keep the best track position, you'd want to pit after building up a gap.I was going to do that after 1 flyer but I kept getting PB's so I stayed out until about lap 5. I initially suspected not getting full throttle, G25 with Leo Bodnar cable, but no, I went back to defaultsetup and was back to full speed again. I suspect too much "toe in" may be the cause but have not confirmed that yet. I am again looking forward to the rest of the season with a more competitive vehicle. I think you may have had cold tyres. I run a tyre temp app to help me. Hope this helps.
