A pub crawl probably didn't help either. Some great pubs in Adelaide with fantastic beer gardens. One of them does 1kg of Buffalo Wings for $10 on a Thursday night. We got there excited for the wings, but then they told us they were sold out. After begging and giving them a sob story of having driven 6 hours just for the wings, they managed to scrape together a basket for us. Love Buffalo wings! It was Hotel Wright Street. Great pub. I think Adelaide is my favourite capital city. Logged Bruce Global Moderator Hero Member Posts: 3440 Karma: 76 "Look out, I'm comin' through!" Thanks to Phil for taking over. I was in Historic Racing heaven during this race having raced a " Cox" brand slot car GT40 when I was 16 ,some 50 years ago andsaw the real thing racing (not replicas) at the Goodwood Revival in 2010. It was also great to have Flattop on my tail the whole race keeping me honest. I too was very tired for the second race and a change of cars did not help !
