Race 1:
My apologies to Seanus for out braking myself on the first lap and giving you a nudge. Even though you were back in front of me by the next straight - 2 others got by you as a result of my tap. Unfortunately it turned worse for you after that as you got skittled by others in the next corner.

Great race all.
Qually was a little stressful - ran in to somebodies spin - rushed back to pits - took out some fuel and went for qually - Had ok lap to go 7th.
Race - got gobbled up at the start a little then settled in for the long haul.
Pitted a little later and came out with Mael and Wally from memory, Mael got by quickly while my tyres were warming up and then a lap or so later Wally did too - as I tried to use the full potential grip of the tyres a little before the tyres were happy to play ball....
Settled in behind Wally - trying to catch him - but a few saved slides on my part and he got away.
Finally settled in to a rythym in 10th, then on the second last lap - as cursed was closing in - but semi comfortably behind..... went through turn 9 fine, and to try to keep speed up a little more - left it in 6th instead of normal off throttle drop to 5th - big mistake - this kept the speed up but when I then wanted 4th gear for turn 10 - that bloody over -rev protection activated..., no 4th gear, no change in weight transfer - and the only time I went off in that corner all night. could not believe it.... lost 6 seconds - cursed got by and I rejoined and finished 11th. Annoyed with myself - but otherwise a good intense race.
Thanks all and looking forward to seeing the replay/highlights package.... I understand there was some fun at the front too.

R1: ok start then a mistake 2nd lap, good racing with Bird and Doobs.
R2: changed brake pressure on pedals a little and seemed to overheat tyres at rear - got up to 10th. Apologies to Wally on the 1st lap nudge in to the chicane a little ambitious on my part. And at the big sweeper - I should have left more room on cold tyres. My apologies.
Otherwise - I'll have to miss Barcelona, but ill be back for Monza - 40kg penalty carries over I assume?

Thanks for the good races all. Apologies to mofo??? I lost it up the top of Eau Rouge and unfortunately stopped in front of you. Also 3rd race - not sure who the blue McLaren was - but 1st or 2nd lap I think - I got on the throttle a little early/or you were off throttle and i bumped in to the back of you - if due to my over-exuberance sorry about that.
Otherwise - had some good clean racing.
Just one question - we had 3-4 goes at the third race - does this happen in the series too - or just fun runs?
I learnt the hard way with the car choice - the Ferrari can be thrown around a fair bit, brakes modulated during turn in etc. and you can sort of manhandle it.....all of which is a terrible driving style to get in to if you are going to the Porsche..... which needs to be lovingly caressed in to corners and is not very forgiving if you overshoot corner entry....
Finally I think the supercars are fun........ but will take a race car over a supercar any day of the week.

Are we looking to do Australian tracks - in keeping with the Aus Porsche cup theme (if Porsche cup wins the popular vote) - or a bit of everything?

Hi all - its probably all been done before - but a GP2 series or similar would produce great racing - and quick enought to be entertaining...
