Post links to your skins in this thread if you want other members to download them. Just post BMW M3 E30 skins here, for season 1.
Your skin folder should be named after your in-game driver name to be unique.
You'll have to put the downloaded skins under both the bmw_m3_e30_dtm and bmw_m3_e30_gra car folders, as people might be driving either car.
Install path GroupA: \Programs\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\bmw_m3_e30_gra\skins

Just a note, too: you'll have to put the same custom skin folder under both the bmw_m3_e30_dtm and bmw_m3_e30_gra car folders.

As soon as I finish a skin I slap it on as many cars as I can. ;D

The point is, everyone who downloads the skin will have to put it in both folders, as you may be driving either car.

Did you download Bacchulum's skin? Put the folder in ...Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\bmw_m3_e30_gra\skins
and also in C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\bmw_m3_e30_dtm\skins
(same skin for both Group A and DTM cars).

why do i have to use my name for a skin i want
Rob and i are going to usse a martini skin cant we just use default name here and you guys use that ?
As long as its the same name in all our skin folder there should be no problem

i can see his car and his name tagged above it yet his folder is ''alpha_37'' ???? where did his name come from

The folder name is what I specify in the entry list as your skin. Just use a name for your folder that is unique, and all is OK.
Also Dion put up a download link for the skin that you and Rob want to use.

Probably wont change much on these and so will just post them, theres the 2 skin variations one with Marty on the rear wing and the other with Guybrush and folders are clearly named so should be easy to set I think.

Looks better from a distance due to res of the skin so if you want to appreciate the texture just stay back a little no need for you to ever get too close ;)

If your using someone elses skin that isnt a default you should post a link here otherwise we wont see your skin in race, unless by sheer chance we already have it too.

No, skins don't go on the server. The server is really lightweight. None of the cars or tracks are on the server at all.

No, skins don't go on the server. The server is really lightweight. None of the cars or tracks are on the server at all.

I've added a skin for Ysu (#5) and myself (#6) (separate download link in the first post, as well as added them to the skin pack).
I've also updated our pit banner (in the ac_crew.dds file).
Seems to be bugged online though - it puts the banner in the wrong pit box.

Team Achilles Heel has proudly Signed a new major sponsor and so our skins have been updated for the next round, still using same naming so no issues should come up if anyone doesnt update they will just still see our cars in the week 1 livery. I tried signing a fuel sponsor to help us out but due to my poor showing I only got a very minor deal fuel related no big players are interested in our team yet. :)

I will do a repack on sunday every week of the group skinpack, then wally if he chooses to, can update the clients directory.

Now, some of you might be aware that the "Crew.dds" file (I think that's what it's called) Shows up next to the wrong pit in multi-player.

I have no-idea how it works but it's a bug. I think i'm in pit box 22 or something. Yet my signage shows up next to Marty in pit pox 1.

So i'll be uploading just the 'crew.dds' file tonight for everyone to put in their skins folders. I think replacing the 'crew.dds' file in EVERY car skin with this one will be even better.

Ok here is my updated crew.dds file. I could have done it by stealth and fake-updated my skins.. but..
I've only updated the one file so no need to download the whole skin folder.
I guess it's up to you guys if you really wan't to download it. Adds to the immersion though!!!.... kinda... :o
