Cool vid of Ayrton Senna driving a Honda NSX
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=96ekbvjyr0g
Watch the way he uses the throttle through the corners real erratic like full throttle then off real quick through the corner, iv never really done it that way always thought to be smooth until I watched that vid, iv been trying it and it works.

I used to do that in a lot of street cars (in sims!). Altho I don't do it that aggressively, usually just off+on once or twice.
Yes, it often works if/when you've too much understeer otherwise :)
It's very nice to see that it works in real life!
But it can lead to trouble, too, if you're not careful.
Now we just need to find the video where they demonstrate that brake+throttle can straighten a loose rear, and we've a start for a series of "what you did in sims & never though works in real life" :D
-
I guess it helps him balance the car front to rear.

This is awesome check this out

ok, so why did you link it in twice?
It's an interesting lap, looks like someone outclassing most of the field starting from the rear. But why twice?
-
so you watch it twice HAHAHA nar I thought it was race one and two but realised it wasn't but couldn't be bothered editing the message

Yet the message says that you edited it but still has 2 links of the same video. ;D

Roscoe, you've posted twice since, but too lazy to click once to fix your own post?
Also; not recognising the same video after the first 10 seconds - really? Have you even watched what you posted?
I've done the 3 second job of editing the second link out for you.

I've read that Ayrton used to drive the turbo F1 like that as well.
One, to help rotate the car, and two, to keep the turbo spinning up.
It worked for me in the 98T. ;D ;D

Bird can be a bit blunt, but he's a good bloke really :D
