Sorry Wally. Watched the replay and figured it's my fault.
No worries, it was almost borderline as you were up the inside, but with locked up brakes. I could almost have left you some more room. Almost :)

Sorry for my first couple of turn 1's in the first race. I was coming up the inside on the first two laps and overestimated my grip, sliding towards the outside of the corner and baulking whoever was behind me. I learned...

Race 1 was OK, being chased by Rob and Killagorilla only after they had some kind of incident that let me past, but race 2 was appalling. Killa and I had a collision on the final corner which spun me and dropped me back a few places, but the car also felt really different to what it felt like in race 1. It was really loose in the rear and I had too many spins and near spins. I was off the pace as well, so I was way, way back, effectively the last of the people who hadn't pitted. Very boring, lonely hotlapping kind of race with barely a car in sight. Disappointing. It felt like one of my worst races for ages.

Actually (not that I want to start an argument), putting a bit of thought into this I think I jumped the gun a baking the blame. I wasn't dive bombing, but you had a bad exit out the S before and that was an invite I had to take. Then it was us being side by side and because I was off the ideal line I just need a bit more space than you were willing to give me :-) So I believe it was just an unfortunate contact ending up in us going off...bad luck.

It was some fun racing. I find this track really difficult.
Screwed up quali, then Bacchulum tricked me into a jump start...of course I stopped in the pits...even mucking around trying to adjust my position after there wasn't anything coming up indicating what to do...well, finally drove off thinking, wtf are you doing? Idiot ;-)
Then there was some bad driving till I finally got in a sort of rhythm.
R2, the obligatory 4 positions back, but with some luck that race went a lot better...was a challenging car/track combination for me.
Cheers

Sorry mate, I actually like the original Kunos one in black more, it's no 60. Can you get me that one, please?
Thanks

Nice to have a dedicated room!

Yeah happy with that. I'll be working from home some days so need to buy some monitors for work... I suggested to my wife it would make more sense to buy 3 new 27" monitors for rig the use the old ones for work and she didn't seem apposed to the idea  ;D

I've got a dedicated sim room myself...and I'd love to have 3 27inchers. Good luck with getting everything ready for the next season  :)

Well, it doesn't help watching this thing again. I was pissed off because, during the race I thought it was you, Russ, running into me at that sharp right hander before...and then just going off. The second incident was more difficult to judge. I trust Wally's judgement on this enough...so, yeah, what can I say...
In the end being run into twice there within a few laps spoiled it enough for me to hit the exit button.
Hi killa,
Yeah, we both got taken out at the sharp right hander.
I would probably call the one where we went off a racing incident. I just didn't like being handed the blame.

Yeah, you're right...sorry. It was the bloody whole package which got me to react the way I did.

Let's all just try our best to avoid incidents in the first place and have some good racing   :)

I'm glad to hear that Bueller came to like the car. That's a common story, where people aren't that keen on a car to start with, but it grows on them. Keep that in mind for future seasons ;)

My first race was a shocker because I tried a setup experiment, where I made the rear cambers as unoptimal as the front cambers to blanace the car, using the Camber Extravaganza app. I knew you could never get the front cambers to their sweet spot, so I tried to make the rear cambers equally bad to balance front and rear grip from camber. Well, that didn't work. The car was really unstable while cornering and badly prone to snap oversteer, so race 1was just hard work.

I reverted to my Queensland setup for the next races and that was much better. I still spent most of my time towards the rear of the field, but had some really good racing with Bueller pressuring me, and also me chasing AbleArcher who was also under pressure from ab156 but didn't crack. Made it hard work but a lot of good racing.

For Killagorilla, have you watched the replays? I haven't myself, and you may be right or you may be wrong, but my point is to make sure you have at least watched the replays before you make judgements.

Yes, I watched the replay from all perspectives. Jeremy redressed/gave me time to get my car straight again. Russ went just into my side turning me around. Russ, you can have that, I'll go harder next time. During the race I actually thought he went into me a couple of turns before, but that was Jeremy. That was the reason for my comments over the radio...I really do try hard to avoid that. I normally don't say anything in cases when someone runs into me, but I get pissed off if it happens multiple times. I understand they were battling for position behind me and that makes it more difficult...anyway, try to forget this thing

R1: Braking started earlier than expected so I went off in order to avoid chaos.
R2: Jeremy was running into me a bit too often and the second time Russg was taking advantage out of it...we were going side by side, had slight contact being right next to each other and then Russg went into me left rear end which resulted in both of us going off. Instead of redressing he just went off.
I noticed I was a bit too aggressive on Ablearcher after this, which I finally got in trouble with...enough for the night...no fun...will make adjustments to my driving style with when racing Jeremy and Russg.

Sorry for the no show, I wasn't up to it. :'(

You absence were noticeable Bacchulum, without you to keep order the first laps were chaos.

For myself a fun, if long night (bit too many laps?). The pace wasn't there for any hope of a decent result but the night was made by a majestic move around the outside of  Killagorilla at the last turn in race 3. In fact I was so chuffed with the pass that I promptly threw the car off the track a few corners later to give the position back  ;D

At least Freezer made some good points for the team.

Well done mate! If everyone was as generous as you ;-)

Was a bad night...got more and more angry at myself about these stupid mistakes. Reg r2, sorry to the guys whose race I f'd up there at the sharp left hand turn in the middle...got confused about the braking marker...sh*

I've had some great close racing with lots of side by side action...enjoyed it.
ab156, I think you were running into me in r2 again, hmm.  If your comment reg r3 refers to our collision it might be worth watching the replay. I've done it.
However, all in all it was great racing...I think we were once going through 3 or 4 turns side by side.
Cheers

I've watched the replay also. Agree we had some great side by side racing earlier. It's all good, different styles and approaches is what makes it fun.

Car is having it's instant cloaking device tested to ensure we don't have the same issue again  8)

Yeah, and these 25kg didn't make it easier. I think I may have blamed you by mistake for running into me at the hairpin...was a yellow one, but looking at Wally's statistics and graphs it seems you weren't near me...anyway, sorry if I did.
