General Discussion / Re: QOS« on: October 31, 2016, 10:14:50 AM »I guess your downstream is 4.5Mbit and not 450Mbit? Still, seems like a decent enough connection to me that you shouldn't be getting spikes that bad just when somebody uses Netflix. 0.8Mbit upstream isn't a huge amount, and in my experience ping spikes was high as you were getting last night into the 700s are usually due to uploads and maxing out your upstream. yes joe it is 4.5 mbit, but i do not think any of icloud OneDrive or dropbox are doing anything...but thx for the help 531

I was talking to Marty on the server last night and complaining how slow my internet speed is everytime my kids are on netflix or browsing the net in general. To circumnavigate this i am force to disco the wifi so that i can enjoy some sort of ....speed.
Now Marty was pointing me out about QOS,i heard of this about prioritizing certain services through the modem so that eventhough everybody is using wifi i can still enjoy few laps without hassles. I tried a bit and search last night but i am farmer and i have brain limitation ,is anyone out there that can help with this? I got a billion NL modem and the download speed when my 2 daughters and my boy are away from home is 450 mbps and the upload is 0.80 mbps,we live is semirural aerea and the phone exchange is 7 km away,so i am not expecting the moon but it would be nice if i can stop switching off and on the wifi in order to download.....porn,,,not joking ,,in order to enjoy few laps with friends through the bloody week I understand that this can be a pain, and sometimes you can`t get results but if any of you has some sort of knowledge about it,it would be appreciated... let me know who can be............HHHAAAAA maybe Istvan can help lololololol 533

But i do not understand sorry. Is the game giving you the invalid lap warning when you cut the track? Can we use it during the qual time?

Long races tend to equalise out into fair results. I have to say that the penalty sistem is not up tp the lovely season ,,,you can cut and get away with it, 536

Great fun ,good racing, close and tough.Shame in the second race i blew everytyhing away...too bad!!! i am getting better and my qual lap was not too shabby. My aim for this championship is to grab a final position into the 10ths but i see it hard but also possible, definately it wont happen if i drive like in the 2nd race...lesson learnt,,,but ye....i am excited to challenge again some of you on the track.
Congrats to the podium!!!! good job!! I remember a couples years ago i could easily make Phil eat my dust........not anymore.....dannazione!!!!! 537

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S14R2: Monza Post-Race Chat« on: October 19, 2016, 01:53:30 PM »The only thing I didn't really like was the "add 1 litre" pit stops (which were quite legal). For the next endurance round at Silverstone, I want to try only allowing refueling in one stop only. On your refueling stop, you can change tyres, or not. That means on the other stop, you'd have to change tyres. That should still leave enough strategic options, and make each stop a "real" one. Maybe with tyre wear at 3x - I'd have to do some trials at Silverstone first. K`NOTH!! 539

Barefoot up here in QLD except in hot days where i use sock on my right foot because of the sweating.I am of course from EU and strictly left foot for braking
I had not played AC for a while and i have to say i am impressed with the package, very noice sim.Yesterday i had a race with the AL at Monza and they just did a great job, incredible!!! I put them at 100% and the cars are just well beahving, taking correct lines, not crashing to each other or even worst, into you.and in general they know what to do.....huge fun, my hat off to my contrymen AC ppl ,,,,good game!!! 540
