"This is a conversion of a track that I previously converted to GTR Evo. Its my first go at an Assetto Corsa track and will attempt to produce more V8 Supercar / Australian locations in the future."

Info:
Length - 3.219 km (2.012 mi)
Turns - 15
Grid Positions - 28
PitBoxes - 16

Current Issues:
No track cameras
Number of Grid positions not equal to Pitboxes
Start and pit lights don't work
Pit Crew not visible
Some spectators on track at first chicane
No penalty for cutting across first chicane or last corner.

Credit for the original track goes to Redhawk and RacerM.

I'd like to open a discussion regarding a potential bug in the way AC presents the in car views of adjacent cars to the drivers of those cars.

I had two incidents in Thursday's fun run at Eastern Creek where the lead car's view shows them further AHEAD of the following car than the following car's view shows them BEHIND the lead car.

There appears to be a significant difference between two drivers perspective of the relative positions of each car.

A. The lead car sees following cars further back than they really are. This results in a driver thinking they can take the "racing line" incorrectly.
B. Cars alongside each other can actually be presented with different relative positional information. This results in one car "thinking" they are ahead while the other car also "thinks" they are ahead.
C. A following car sees leading cars closer than they really are. This results in a following car thinking they have "overlap" and entitled to "racing room" incorrectly.

Just had a little drive of this and the physics seem pretty good. I think it is already pretty good to drive at 0,1 release. We don't have too many slow cars to choose from and don't do runs on any of the short versions of tracks eg Vellalunga Club. Did a 1:13 there so it is FAST! 0-60mph in 12.2sec is not to be sneezed at!  8)

Fantasy track by snoopy of "Nordschleife by snoopy v1.1" fame. Some issues such as holes and fps sometimes but great fun in the Cobra :)

It wasn't very accurate in early releases but latest update a few days ago could make it worth testing again.

Baskerville Raceway is scratch built by Nick Rainbird - "This is my local racetrack, it is a short track with excellent elevation changes that I would liken to a short version of Brands Hatch. I am building the mesh and objects from scratch with the idea that I will try to create an authentic version of the circuit, while keeping the system performance optimised and utilising as many graphical elements as I can from the AC SDK tools."

Baskerville Raceway was opened in February 1958 and is located in Hobart’s northern suburb of Old Beach and is set in a natural amphitheatre with spectators able to sit in their cars and view the entire circuit. The track is a tight and demanding 2.01 kilometres in length that includes a fast straight, off camber corner and a relatively blind corner at the top of a steep hill.

Beta 0.6 just released (11/11/2014). Big improvement.
