It could be because I still had the OSRW version of the track on the server (the one with extra pit boxes). I've removed the OSRW stuff - try again.

Hey guys I'm over Long COVID and thought I had finally got my PC running properly, so I was planning to join you again. But unfortunately AC has other ideas. The PC crashes continually with AC and when it does cooperate I cannot save, or load any setups. I think I will have to uninstall AC/CM/CSP and start again. In the mean time looks like I'm back to AMS2.
Enjoy the BTCC's they look like fun.

They’re not that bad…if it makes you feel better just pretend it’s an open wheeler with lots of understeer ;D

He has! It looks like tyre life could be rather interesting in these cars too

My thoughts about these cars, for those that couldn't make it: I'm not a big fan of FWD cars at the best of times - it definitely calls for a different driving technique. These cars all felt a bit different, so everyone could find a car that suited them best, and gave comparable lap times. The racing was OK, but we ended up relatively spread out. The soft tyres started to wear quite a bit after 15 minutes, but it didn't really affect the driving too much.

A rear wheel drive version of these . . . Mmmmmmmmmm!!!

Here were the lap times.

This was an interesting night. Apart from not knowing how to throw a FWD around in anger the 3 cars were vastly different in how they drove.
- Race 1 in the Mondeo = extreme mid corner oversteer which was very predictable as it happened at every apex
- Race 2 in the Vectra = with a very early turn in and then throttle when it understeered it felt much calmer to drive.
- Race 3 in the Accord = really weird, as I couldn't get my head around how to drive it. It felt the best to drive in terms of stability but lap times were a lot slower and the gearing felt much taller than the other 2
I must admit, they were all good to drive close to each other, however I found myself cutting so many corners just to get speed that mentally driving them didn't feel very sportsman like. Whilst I drive a FWD daily, I must admit for a race night my preference is for large, loud big horse power RWD monsters

Is that version 1.1.7zip perchance? That extension has confused me many a time.
