Nice work Gratulin.
Never ask me fire a track I'll just say Watkins Glen ;D

Love it! The Jag at Pukekohe is brilliant. The bumpiness in the track just brings the big old suspension to life. I had a big grin on my face correcting a slide in the last high-speed corner.

That final S sequence and turn 1 are great fun. The V8s always have great races here, with a lot of action in that final fast, bumpy S section.

I've put up Pukekohoe on the Combo Tester server and have the SaReNi Camaro GTRC alongside the Jag.

Broadspeed Jaguar: weight 1450kg, power 600bhp [my laptime = 1:17.4]
Camaro GTRC: weight 1290kg, power 650+ bhp. [my laptime = 1:05.6]
V8 SuperCar: weight 1400kg (with driver min 100kg), power 620-650 bhp. [2014 ITM 500 Quali Jason Bright 1:03.1962]

did a couple of laps last night on the combo server...

wow, The Jag is a great mod, only 4 speed, less chances to stuff the box! and as Wally said, over the bumps in default gets unsettled and does feel like you need to hang on.
the track is a good product, the GTLegends and rFactor versions didn't have the tight chicane so had a few offs there.  Really pleased the older cars mods are starting to filter through...

Did anyone try the Camaro? It is pretty much how I remember the V8 Supercar mods in Rf handling around here - pure grunt and noise :))

No, forgot to, I got caught up in the "Big Cat" and then a couple of laps in the Cobra offline.  Certainly looking forward to Thursday and hope some (or at least one :) ) of our setup gurus has something for us.  Mine is better than default, but a little "white knuckles" on the right handers out of the home straight.

I think we have found another "Thursday" car. The Broadstreet Jaguar is a great mod and drives fantastic. It really suits Gentrack and Pukekohoe.

I agree. It's been my favourite of the Thursday cars to date. It's big and heavy and wallowy without being too unpredicatable or feral.

The secret seems to be that the modders who have the real world data for a car can feed that data into Assetto Corsa and let the AC physics engine simulate the real world car behaviour.

Fantastic I'll get the data for FJ and knock up a quick model ;)

Am I loosing more memory  :o did I see somewhere a link to "The Big Cat" stats?

Man this is a great mod, I took on fabbi's setup tweaks and stopped a little of the wandering... had fun in both races, but I did change something else, can't remember, didn't save it, went faster, but either I or the setup changed destroy the tyres by lap 5-6. :(

Great racing for a impromptu drop in with out practice on new mod... both the mod and Pukehoe are a must.

Ha ha. I deleted the post when I shut down the server. Didn't copy the Database over to the practise server.

Phew!  ;D

Definitely one for next season, great cars and a great track.

For some reason I was expecting a XJS, not the XJC, wasn't disappointed though.
I had some good pace in this car with a 1.15.7 in Quali, but overdid it in the race, Pukekohe isn't a track to
try overtaking from off the racing line.
