Flying in the last corner at those speeds...farkennel.Well I did say it was a wip lol, that last corner is scary I'm getting wheels off the ground there. I think I'll change to the Fezza though 362

Are you NUTS? 12 cylinders is where it's at! Thanks I'll give it a go, hopefully it goes as good as it soundsDo any of these cars have a a nice sounding V8, the only car I've driven was the Ferrari in default setupThe Repco Brabham V8 is one of the best sounding V8s ever built, I loved the sound from Bacchulum's car as he went past me last Tuesday night . 364

Thursday Nights fun racing / Re: S17 R11 - Mountain Peak Charlotte Speedway - 25/04/2019« on: April 26, 2019, 10:59:31 AM »A great night of racing and fun . This is what I love about simracing, being able to experience all the different forms of racing from the comfort of your simrig . Oval racing really is something else, seeing massive spins and a car doing vertical pirouettes through the air is not something you see very often, thanks Phil.Yeah, I had to go try an Indy car mod straight after, cool 367

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Season 28 - tiers and restrictor« on: April 21, 2019, 08:16:44 AM »
The guys @the front will always be @the front, the guys mid pack (like me if I'm not spinning) shouldn't be too concerned where mid pack because we'll also always be mid pack, however the guys @the back will be getting more mid pack battles...this is how I see the ruling and I'm OK with it. When the FIA (Wally) makes a rule....ima just go with it

Assetto Corsa Competizione / Re: ACC News« on: April 17, 2019, 11:29:40 PM »I only mentioned 32 because bigger is better, 27 would still be good for sure. I think the main reason for larger screens or multi monitors is for the wider fov. So what ever you use you'd want to be as close as possible, within reason. The wrap around aspect of triple is what I'd imagine to be the most enticing.A central bezel would be annoying, to understate it.Would be like a modern f1 lol 372

R1 shot up the right side of the track across the painted area and slotted into 3rd, couldn't match Mael pace and pushing the braking limit further and further causing myself to spin and hand over a few places.
R2&3 similar shoot up the grid a little fall back from Mael get pressure from Phil & other mustangs, great fun thanks guys Edit; watching the bird & killa mustang battle in front of me was pretty good, thought I might be handed a couple of places lol. Also pressure from Phil was tough, tried to make it hard for him to pass but the mustang was too fast on the straight and he had to go round the outside in the braking zone at turn one, I locked up big time almost collecting him, so glad I didn't, I think he was aware of my situation lol 373

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Season 28 discussion« on: April 11, 2019, 02:40:57 PM »^ what they saidAlways love the Escorts no matter how many seasons we do in them. What he said. I'm not a fan for anything FWD to be honest (don't like to discriminate), but if it's got enough power to steer with your right foot, I'm all for it !Also what he said ^ however...I believe the seat would introduce some much needed excitement, close door to door racing, something different, this is a fantastic mod (try it offline), a little bit of bumping and grinding. What I was thinking of was to have everyone to start with, say 100kg ballast + 100 restrictor (maybe different numbers but whatever) and as the season progressed the slower guys teams "invest" in some better performance parts, removing some of those things. A combination of what we did in the last Escort season and the current season with the fastest lap times. Also a world tour, some of the best known and some of the least known tracks of the world, euro, aus etc. Did anyone try the Australian tracks from the link I put in the other thread, Albert Park seems good but I haven't done much testing. I'm OK with anything though 375
Assetto Corsa / Re: VR - exciting times ahead...« on: April 10, 2019, 12:08:31 PM »If you run msi afterburner in the background then look at the graph for gpu usage you'll be able to tell if you're cpu limited, gpu usage should be as close to 100% as possibleI prefer a FPS of 80plus , I find sometimes on Thursdays I get down to 60FPS, I am running an 1st. gen i7, i7 860 oc'd to 3.9gig and I don't think my system is CPU bound, but I could be wrong. I also have a lot of the AC settings turned down, but with the "shaders patch" it still looks brilliant ....My 1080ti struggles with 3840x2160 on my singlescreen ... |
