Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: Poll: Do you want to use the S9 ballast system again?« on: November 25, 2015, 07:48:16 PM »Well when you put it like that...Not sure how to vote. Ballast was generally good and worked well I thought. But also when the fastest guys are consistently not at the top you have to ask why. Personally I didn't mind how it affected me. At the beginning of the season I expected it would work by bringing the gaps way down but with the fastest/most skilled drivers still at the top. I think there's a debate in here somewhere. Better with the current system than no ballast at all so it gets my vote Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 2

My pit crew really fucked me over in Race 2.
Do you guys bother putting in minimum fuel for the second stint or just hit FILL to save those precious seconds? Edit: Actually, just occurred to me that it's probably best to consistently make the first stint the shorter one with minimum fuel for this reason. I'm learning - slowly. 6

After the T1 incident my car was oversteering heaps so I was a little off pace. That lap I spun out I tried to pick up speed because you'd gained so much but lost time in the process. Was looking forward to having a battle with you! Ah well Maybe penalties should be harsher for causing collisions early. Along with points penalty maybe add ballast to a car for the next 2 races if they start a t1 or t2 collision.I'd be fine with this... 7

Seeing as no-one has mentioned it I'm thinking it just me, but...
I got 27.5 points this round for finishing P4 and then P3, plus 4 points re. collision when in Spa I got 50 points after finishing in P8 and P10 and no collision points given. Likewise others up top for round points seem to have earned more than possible eg. Rolz on 71 points this round for finishing P15 and P12. 8

Learned a couple things in race 2 tonight. 1-You need to do a few laps in practice on a full tank to know how much more fuel you use. 2-There's no fuel estimate shown when pitting. No idea how I got this far in season without realising that one! Ah well was a good race apart from having to pit on lap 13.

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S9R2: Silverstone post-race chat« on: October 21, 2015, 12:08:56 AM »Race 1 was behind Bafs and Wally for 5 laps until Bafs spun then on lap 6 I gave it a bit too much gas coming out of Vale and spun loosing three places. Was then behind Ed and Will for a while until I saw Ed in the sand. Another lap later got a good run on to hanger straight and closed right in on Will and he pulled over and let me past, not sure why, but thanks Finished 8th I think, not too shabbyI was rear-ended by Edwood on lap 8 or 9 I think because he lagged. I was so slow on the straights after that plus being a lap down after pitting for damage early in the race I didn't see the point getting in your way. Congrats on the baby to come!! Race two was going well fore me until my internet shat itself. Data should show me disappearing on lap 9 or 10. Need to replace modem before next week I'm pretty sure it's the problem. 11

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S9R1: Imola post-race« on: October 14, 2015, 08:49:23 PM »Yeah you're right. I can't remember if a cut was registered but I don't think so. Can you see that looking at data, Wally? It should have been a cut. But then again I was decelerating the whole time maybe that's why it wasn't registered? I think I saw you going slower than I was expecting to go myself and tried to avoid connecting; which is why I went over the curb so. Sorry again for ruining your race, mate.]hey schmittez. I was real sorry about that. At the time I was umming and ahhing about whether to stop. You're right I lost it on the last turn of that lap and gave the place back by accident. To be honest I didn't give the place back because I thought you were abnormlly slow and thought of it as more of a racing incident. Looking at the replay I don't know how I thought that now. You were slow there, probably because you avoided the kerb completely, whereas I took heaps of kerb - a lot more that I thought - and caused that 100%. Sorry again I hate being responsible for accidents. I had a pretty abysmal night all round tbh. Looking forward to next week Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk 13
