It might be worth adding the MTX1-03c to the lineup. It is the later version of the MTX1-03 and is a little quicker - mostly due to improved aerodynamics. I've tried it and it seems to be much the same to me. Some of us might find it better/easier to drive however. No power or weight differences so won't change the racing very much.

And strangely enough,  since the server  fell over, my steam games cause the powerline network to fail!
Close steam game, network recovers... Hmm
Should have it fixed, or hard-wired tonight.

After @Marty put up Hockenheimring on his servers for a bit of F1 fun I realised that we are running Hockenheimring Short2 in a couple of weeks for Round 4. Doesn't make sense to not run it this week given the German GP is at Hockenheimring this weekend.

Suggestion: How about we switch Round 2 and Round 4. In addition, change the layout from Short2 to GP layout?

I am sure Phil can handle the change along for all his other server issues  ;)

Also, any practice at Modena is not wasted  ;)

Main server crashed again twice but backup is fine so far.

@ my current pace (low 1:57's) I will get 13 laps over 25mins. I'm driving the "b" version.

oh god please tell me the latest ac update has nothing to do with the server

1.7.5
- fixed pit timing for BMW M3 GT2
- fixed encoding issues in some json files
- fixed Steam achievement "Vallelunga Instructors are giving you the thumb, well done!"
- fixed Steam achievement "You should be driving the real Formula Abarth! Poleman!"

However they have never actually mentioned when things have changed server side within logs and I normally update all content after updates, plus check to make sure acserver.exe hasnt been updated.

Seeing this is a mod track and mod cars there should be no content issues.

Ouch, I thought that type of thing was reserved for the Catholic clergy, not Vallelunga instructors.

I actually finished 6th in race 2 but it had me as 13th due to one of the laps not registering :(

Would likely have been lap 3 as it shows me having taken 04:53.956 to complete that lap...

I wonder if this track didnt have the start/finish line cover outside the track boundary. Possibly you were very wide off track at the line and it maybe didnt register? I cant think of any other reason why it would just randomly miss a lap but that is still an issue that may come about with some mod tracks.

Phil could upload the stracker package zip and this will then also show the track map and lines in the server. It should show if thats what happened as it will display your line each lap to see if thats actually what caused the issue.

It happened to Ley too. Can confirm aj's position though. I was pushing hard trying to pass gw, went wide and he got us both.

Good, fun night.

Race 1 I got out in front and was just pushing for hotlaps.  Was on a flyer but then spun which let Marty past.  I managed to catch up to the back of him but the laps ran out and I limped across the line.

Race 2 was interesting with all the safety cars and restarts.  Once we got going, the same thing happened as in Race 1.  I was happy with my one lap pace though.

These cars are quite fun, they very much remind me of driving go-karts - quite nervous and twitchy but you can still feel the slides just enough to catch some of them.

Thursdays are always fun.

R1 I was side by side with Bruce and all of a sudden we were both off the track. Not exactly sure what happened. After that was pushing hard, overtook Imp and Hornbag, spun off, overtook Imp and Hornbag, spun off, repeat....

R2 had an early contact with AJ I think? I could see him on Helicorsa and was pretty sure I gave enough room but then there was a big pile up. Lots of cars around at the time so no idea what happened. Think that prompted one of the safety cars. Spent the last 5 or so laps on GW's bumper which gave AJ time to catch up and take us both when I went wide. Couldn't get past GW but good fun trying.

Nah my off was nowhere near the start/finish line. I got squeezed going onto the Parabolika.

Title: Re: Metalex to the MAX! - Round 2: Thursday 28thJuly

Phil in the stracker download there should be a file called stracker packager or something, you need to run this on your pc with AC installed. This then creates a file called stracker_package.zip (or similar) you then need to login to the web interface as admin and under the general admin tab upload the pckage.zip

This will create track maps for all the live maps in stracker and also for lap data. Once that upload is done check to see if it shows track maps. It may need stracker to restart for these to show up.
