Sign up for a season in the Lotus Exos 125, pending the poll results, which closes Wednesday evening.
Schedule
R1: May 30, Imola, 20 laps + 14 laps
R2: Jun 6, Red Bull Ring GP, 24 laps + 16 laps
R3: Jun 13, Spa, 16 laps + 10 laps
R4: Jun 20, Mugello, 20 laps + 14 laps
R5: Jun 27, Zandvoort, 22 laps + 15 laps
Maybe a round 6, depending on interest.
R6: Jul 4, Donington GP, 23 laps + 16 laps
Race Format
As per FIA F2 rules: 1 feature race of 35 mins with qualifying, with 1 CPS for a mandatory tyre change, followed by 1 sprint race of 20 mins, with no pit stops. Race 2 is in race 1 finish order, with top 8 reversed. Refuelling is not allowed.
DRS rules applied - download the app HERE (http://xgn.com.au/index.php?topic=1910).
Fuel rate 50% just to make sure you don't have to refuel (Exos has a relatively small tank).
No tyre warmers.
Points
32 down to 1.
2 points for pole position.
2 points for fastest lap in each race.
Penalties
25% restrictor applied for next round for causing lap 1 grief (or 10 second post-race 1 penalty in the final round).

As usual, I am in. I might miss one race mid-way and possibly the final one (depends on whether we have 5 or 6 weeks) as I will leave for my yearly 2/3 months roaming....
PS: did not love the choice of the car given my bad experience with it last night, but I am sure that with a smart choice of tracks, this can be a very racy season,

Watched a bit of formula 2 over the weekend, I think a number of accidents per race can be expected for our series!

Nope, all good, you're already in. It was a baptism of fire jumping straight into that combo, but now you've got a chance to practice for Spa :)

great choice ;) I won't be able to make it, though, as I am in Brisbane that day. After that I'll also miss another pair of seasons completely as I am away until the end of September.
