To ensure we all have the same version of the kart, please download the attached zip file and unzip data.acd into Steam\steamapps\common\assettocorsa\content\cars\legion_shifter_kart.

I did some laps with the slightly older version and was nearly a second faster, so we want to make sure everyone's on the same page.

Just updated to this file (I was pretty sure I was up to date anyway) but now I get a checksum fail.

Please try again (new file in the first post) - I had an old "flames.ini" from one of the older versions which is no longer there in the latest version.

Duh? You are unzipping that data.acd file into the top level car folder?

Just checked, no mismatch, that's assuming the server still has an .acd.

More simple solution, is the latest version 20220924?
I'll just re-install that, as that is what I used to do laps on the server with.

The latest version is in the season info post. Seanus has updated it to include the data.acd file, so delete your old car and redownload it from there.

Question: do a data.acd file and a data folder do the same thing?
My version had a data folder, not a .acd file, could that have caused a conflict?

They contain the same thing, but the server checksum only compares your data.acd file against the one on the server.
