Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S43R1 - Cascavel« on: July 15, 2022, 08:49:40 AM »There was probably just a dodgy section of track barrier, that made the car stick and get ruined. I bounced off another barrier at one stage, and just had some minor front and rear damage. Yeah but in R2 my engine was gone when on the damage indicator it was yellow. I also didn't really expect the impact to do an engine. 77

Was surprised by the damage on these too. Brad and I hardly touched in R1 and I barely touched the wall and got stuck. R2 after our accident my car wouldn't move, the engine was gone, but it really didnt seem bad enough for that. On the damage indicator there was a few yellow parts but the car wouldn't move and there was no engine sound.
Race 3 was better and fun trying to catch up with Wally and Mael. Thankfully my internet issues held up, and got it fixed yesterday. One of the cables had been chewed on by something, which is surprising at there is usually a python hanging out on my roof. 78
Hardware & Reviews / Fanatec Wheel Wall Mount« on: July 12, 2022, 12:53:11 PM »
Recently got myself a 3D printer so have been playing around learning how to use it. One of the things I printed was a quick release wall mount so I can put the wheel I'm not using on the wall rather than have it under the seat out of the way

Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S42R2 - Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez« on: May 11, 2022, 02:57:43 PM »I got 4th, 1st, 3rd, Mael got 1st, 5th, 4th. Even with an extra point for pole and fastest lap in one race, how is that 14 more points than me?Oops, my mistake (I counted race 3 results twice). Fixed. I wasn't questioning Wally. I was questioning you winning a round! 85
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S42R2 - Autódromo Oscar y Juan Gálvez« on: May 11, 2022, 10:02:50 AM »My lap in race 2 was messy. Right near the start, I skidded of a kerb a bit which sent me sideways into Brad. Then later I had a sideways bump at the 1st hairpin (trying to pass inside Seanus, I think) which put me on the grass, no real harm done, but it slowed me enough that once I was back on track and moving again, I collected Freezer and went off again. I should have had more awareness and realised that Freezer was closing with more speed and left more room on the inside. I was on the racing line, but too slow. I think just before collecting Freezer you were coming back onto the track from the right after the hairpin. I had Rolz up the outside and nowhere to go, got squeezed between you and Rolz and you spun and took Rolz out. I think was coming back from that where Freezer was involved. 86

Joe won the round by one point from Mael.I got 4th, 1st, 3rd, Mael got 1st, 5th, 4th. Even with an extra point for pole and fastest lap in one race, how is that 14 more points than me?Oops, my mistake (I counted race 3 results twice). Fixed. I felt I had a better round but he had a heap more points For my benefit; I still can't make that add up. Is it using what's on the info thread? "Points 18-16-14-12-11-10-...-1 1 point bonus for pole position and fastest race lap." Based on that I'd calculate for me 12 + 18 + 14 = 44 Meal would have 18 + 11 + 12 = 41 + one point for pole and one point for fastest lap in Race 1, so 43 Or am I missing something? 88

They are but you can't use g27 pedals on their own the wheel base has to be plugged in. You could technically have both bases plugged in to use the g27 pedals. I went for load cell pedals before I did a wheel upgrade as they make quite a difference.
