I have been racing with vsync off, but I saw in one of Kunos' recent coding streams that he said he has implemented some kind of internal triple-buffering when it's on. I turned vsync on in-game, and it now looks silky smooth. You do get a tiny bit of input lag, but for me it was no biggie. If you currently jave vsync off, it might be worth trying it on and see if you get nice, fluid gameplay.

Bruce, I tried connecting this morning with the GTA and still the Checksum error.
I think that even though I'm not driving the Caterham my computer spits the dummy just trying to load them. I have tried everything I can think of within the game but as its only the Caterham I have problems with I am a bit reluctant to start changing Windows, C++ settings etc.
I think I will give the rest of the season a miss so that you guys can enjoy the Caterham. I will be refreshed and invigorated for the next season.

It was a lot of fun last night. I had the car feeling pretty nice with tyre pressures 24/21 and not much front camber.

Wally, how fast did you get going in your vid? Not sure why they have a speedo with no readings on it.
I'm pretty certain the green section is up to 100, and the yellow is up to 200. I wasn't looking at the speedo much

I actually did this when doing an auscar v8 run around Eastern Creek at the end of the main straight
doing about 180 kph with the co-driver screaming BRAKE! BRAKE!
I'm really keen on doing a day like this. What was it like?
I've done a V8 race experience at Mallala (a simple track). 7 laps. It was huge fun to drive a car with slicks in anger on a race track and feel the grip, and stopping power, and hit the apexes for real. You have an experienced co-driver with you, and he constantly tells you when to shift and when to brake. I would 100% recommend the experience. [youtube]uQUo40JojsI[/youtube]

For some reason my app won't update. I've tried uninstalling and downloading but still seems to be the beta version. Could I he stuck as a beta tester somehow?
Sometimes it takes a while for new versions to become available in the play store. But I also just now disabled beta testing, so see if that makes a difference.

You can get notified when a certain number of players join your favourite servers.
Set the times of day when you want to get notifications.
Get notifications on WiFi only if you want.
- Remembers favourites by server IP address and port instead of by name, so they stay in your favourites even if they are renamed. You will need to re-add your favourite servers.

And GB, I found the bug where servers that you searched for and favourited weren't having the orange star show up straight away. I also changed the "Server" heading on the list to "All Servers" or "Favourite Servers".

Had a look at RSR and WR is pretty strange: last sector is 3 seconds faster than everybody else... What should I understand?
Could be a bug. It's not unknown for RSR to have had some bugs.
