Thanks Phil.
Well a new track, certainly different, some great flowing sections, that should produce some exciting racing.

Quick and easy track to learn but with changing radius turns difficult to master. Starts to get real slippery after a handful of laps too.
Looks like it will be cracker.

So what times are being set here? 19.7 the best in the Sierra for me so far. Not sure if I've got a lot more, few tenths maybe. :)

20.4 for me but with more laps I can see an 18sec flat  ;D

It's giving me strange numbers on short stints. At least 23 laps. Maybe more but I'll do a full stint this morning and let ya's know.

What race distance we aiming for, wouldn't mind some pit stops

Just worked out quickly, 33 X 1:20 average 33 X 80 รท 60 = 44 minutes + pit stop should be around a 46 minute race.

I would be happy to do a pitstop if everyone agrees. Having the pit config app will make life easier

http://www.racedepartment.com/downloads/pitconfig.8032/

Might want to do a short race somewhere to practice how it works :))

It might work now in offline race?

I just gave it a go and it sort of worked offline. Wouldn't let me start again though.

I've got to say I don't get the pit stop thing. It's just more opportunities for disappointment and it doesn't add anything to the racing by trying to negotiate pit lane.
Sorry Glen

Just did 30 lap race (no stop)  in the Sierra. Had 10 more laps fuel but tyres were shot.

Hey mate all good,  I didn't mean to force pit stops but rather have the option to pit if you want fresh rubber or stay and skate around, by making the races a bit longer.

Really enjoyed that race. Couple of little battles and only one mishap. Best fun I've had on AC so far. Congrats to the podium winners. ;D ;)

Great Track choice Bruce, I feel bad you didn't get to enjoy it as much as you could have

Thanks Aj, you were faster than me pretty much everywhere, if you had of kept up the pressure I probably would have had a brain fade.

Wasn't fast enough to get by though! There were only really two places on the track that I thought were right for a move, but those seemed to be the two places you outbraked me every time  :D

Hilltop is a fictional track originally designed back in 2006 for GPL by Strava.
Although it's fictional only it became a legend in SIM-Racing

That is a great track! Very happy we got to race there.
Had some good little bump and rub racing throughout which kept things interesting. Although Phil managed to get by a couple of times (after pitstop/run offs) with relative ease (WD).

Thanks everyone for the entertaining night.

PS. Think I'm out of the loop through not running Tuesdays. WTF is Wally's lights? And why are we not using the AC lights?

it's another addition to the PLP, for our races, we use it.
The "Wally Starting Lights System" allows racers to start in gear.
AC lights count down, do nothing
Select gear
run off Wally Lights, these will be in the top right hand corner for the start only.

Well, I will put down a major distraction for my poor performance and once again missing points! GRRR
I had done the laps in the Merc, but with Mc1FR joining and using a Merc, it meant Imperious was short of a ride.
Knowing I was waiting on important phone call, I jumped in a BMW.  No problems Mc1, happy to have new racers here, (even if they are that fast that they run from the rear of the grid to 8th! :) ), and it was easy way to get the show on the road.

I like the BMW, sounds good, I got better, infact a PB some where between going bush and being put back in the pits, a couple of offs, but Bathurst here I come!
