Seanus has a pretty wide FOV; I have the narrowest. Phil and Russ are pretty similar. BTW: I do not have a picture handy right now, but it used to look like the other ones. The 45 degree angles let me have good vision of both mirrors, but otherwise it is the same as Wally,... maybe Russ's one is the most similar in total, though I had no wheel like the other two. « Last Edit: January 13, 2018, 02:29:42 PM by grat » Logged RussG Sr. Member Posts: 251 Karma: 14 Re: Triple screen confusion « Reply #17 on: January 13, 2018, 05:46:59 PM » Quote from: grat on January 13, 2018, 02:26:05 PMmaybe Russ's one is the most similar in total, though I had no wheel like the other two.I like having the wheel with this car as it has the rev lights on it Logged Some days you're the pigeon,Some days you're the statue ... grat Hero Member Posts: 1174 Karma: 16 Re: Triple screen confusion « Reply #18 on: January 13, 2018, 06:41:57 PM » Quote from: RussG on January 13, 2018, 05:46:59 PMQuote from: grat on January 13, 2018, 02:26:05 PMmaybe Russ's one is the most similar in total, though I had no wheel like the other two.I like having the wheel with this car as it has the rev lights on it Yeah, I know... now (that I am using vr ) Logged gawaterman RestrictedRacing Sr. Member Posts: 408 Karma: 17 Re: Triple screen confusion « Reply #19 on: January 13, 2018, 07:14:22 PM » So can I assume you guys are still using the TripleScreen app and that I just need to play around with it more? There is a calculator for side monitor angle but the rule of thumb is that the should be angled so that the centre of each of the screen is exactly the same distance from your eyes.In game just load the triple monitor app and punch in the numbers and it will set the correct FOV for your setup. Then for each new car I load the Onboard Settings app and move the drivers eye position so that the top of my steering wheel covers the onscreen wheel. My physical wheel comes about a third of the way up my center monitor. Here a photo taken in panoramic mode on phone so not pefect but gives the idea: Logged Gratulin Hero Member Posts: 2159 Karma: 44 Re: Triple screen confusion « Reply #23 on: January 14, 2018, 01:03:32 AM » Quote from: gawaterman on January 13, 2018, 07:14:22 PMSo can I assume you guys are still using the TripleScreen app and that I just need to play around with it more?I now just measure everything and punch exact numbers into the App. Once I worked out that I had to be exact with the measurements it was easy. It's only subtly different to what it was before, but cars will be a bit larger and closer now. But with the monitors closer, it's more immersive.
