I'll show up and see how we go, but if I have audio issues I'll have to miss it.
(my back-up headset hasn't arrived yet even though it was due Monday ) 3137

Assetto Corsa / Re: Thu June 5: Monza Time Travel« on: June 04, 2014, 09:17:14 PM »Oh yeah!Fark me I hate that 312T. I just can't keep it on the road, snappy, too much power...and understeer into the corner. Plus the stupid wings. I hate it.It'll be a challenge, that's for sure. What a pity AC doesn't have rain yet. 312T+Nordschleiffe+rain= Hopefully one day..... 3140

Assetto Corsa / Re: Thu June 5: Monza Time Travel« on: May 31, 2014, 10:34:38 PM »I'm absolutely in for this one Wally, though I must admit to never being a fan of modern Monza.I'm in agreement. It wouldn't be out of place to have the 312T on '66 Monza as well. But I'll drive it (slowly) anywhere. 3144

Assetto Corsa / Re: Thu May 29: Rich Boy's Toys at Silverstone International« on: May 30, 2014, 07:49:27 PM »What's a DAC?Shame I couldn't stick around but the audio was excrutiating. It may be a 5.1 surround issue (AC said they haven'y worked on that) but Logitech users are suffering. It was my first issue as well after 4 online sessions. Everything sounds like a machine-gun, so you can't tell the difference between engine or tyre. 3146
Hardware & Reviews / Re: Dual video cards« on: May 30, 2014, 04:36:47 PM »
I've got SLI nVidia and can't remember squat about setting it up, so I think it's simple.
(I succeeded ) There is a SLI lead/clip to link the two cards (that I know) and then they do it themselves (I'm pretty sure). I know you probably don't want to hear uncertainty but like I said, I did it (and I'm stoopid). 3147

Question Wally.
There's no server "set-up" for the second race, is there? I usually use that time to have a urination and smoke (and stretch my legs) between races, but if it's not there, I'll probably miss second quallifying. Maybe not, but it will be a quicker turn around than nKPro with a 10min warm-up, I assume. (where I'm struggling for time with the smaller grids lately) |
