Hey do u guys cut corners or stay with both wheels on the black top in corners 14/15, mainly 15?
I don't take too much kerb there at all. It unsettles the car too much. I think I clip the kerb a little on the left on entry, but avoid it on exit, trying to get the power down.

Apparently, I've done a 2.01.
I know last night I found a few spots where I was making huge mistakes. I was throwing down PB's one after the other. Think I have maxed out now.
I would like XGN to recruit the 15 drivers bellow me...

I noticed that both you and guy are running lower temp 22c ambient bit of a bug in game as in mp you run whatever you set it to in sp. I figured rsr pro 26c would be best until servers have control of temps. Higher temp will likely give you more grip anyway but may reduce tyre life.

I notice some people with 'H-shifter not used' get a pro ranking while other don't?
I don't think the H shifter comes into it. You have to be in "pro mode" - i.e. no assists at all, and the ambient temp has to be 26. I think that's all you need.

I don't know if it makes a huge difference, but yes, it would be best if everyone had their temperatures set to 26, in the single player settings.

Where were you having trouble?
Mostly in the corners . . . . . just crap driving generally, kept having spins.
I just wish some of the slower drivers would get on here and post their times to make me feel better...

As far as lap times go, what are u guys getting (roughly) with full race setup, after looking at rsr i'm well off the pace, but i have not set my car up for qualifying.
I had my first run last night and a 1.59.1 was my best but I was having a lot of trouble stringing a clean lap together, so hopefully tonight will be better.
Where were you having trouble?

I know there is only one race left but I would still like to have a chance to race and be in the next season, Hopefully I'm not too slow for everyone.
What is classified as "slow" may I ask, is a 2.02:*** around the Nurburgring GP track even close to acceptable? That's the fastest I have been but that was on the first day with no car tuning only low fuel and soft slicks.
Hi Schimttez. Welcome to XGN. I'll see if there's any spots available for next Tuesday's race. At the moment, the grid's full, but I'll put you on the reserve list in case someone can't make it. The next couple of Tuesday's, we'll be having a couple of fun/trial races which you should be able to come along to. Then we're starting season 3, which will be designed to promote close racing in a field of mixed Lotuses and BMWs for all. So keep your eye on the forum.
