Last kart practice - Sep 27
« on: September 22, 2022, 09:44:36 AM »
Anticipating the next season being in the SMS IAME Screamer III Kart (125 cc), the last practice race before the season starts on October 4 will be a few 10 lap races at the Family Fun Karting track.

I've set up a server called "XGN.COM.AU - Kart Practice", with lap stats available here.

Shifter kart is good and that Family track is much more flowing than last week.  More suited to the kart!

Yes, the flow of this track is much more what to expect in a season.

Are there two separate instances of Ptracker running on Phil's instance?

I access using http://52.63.217.129/ where the link above is to http://xgnsimracing.com.au/

I usually start my server then my ptracker then Wally's server then Wally's ptracker.
I did it this way as I thought Wally's ptracker piggy backed on the first instance and needed to be started in that order to work properly.

Actually I'm totally confused, the addresses seem to share some results but are incomplete or different.   :o :o :o :o :o

I think the above addresses are separate computers? Are their ptracker instances sharing somehow?

I'm running the kart practice on another computer (the one that hosts the car dealer website). I copied the stracker database from Phil's server, so it will look similar (but now diverging).

Still about a second off the pace even with catching a bit of air  :o  My excuse is I'm using a single screen.

Yes, a single screen would make it more difficult, for sure.

lol. That's only my excuse. The real reason is probably me sliding the rear too much, toasting the outside rear  :-\

I'll see if I get some time to join you guys for a run tonight, being a Thursday night racer I haven't had time to walk the track yet, so might hang down the back of the pack  :o
