The V8s have always left me a little.. ho hum. Not into the Ford/Holden bogan thing, but the Scottish track was great, almost a gentrack1 +, plenty of spots to become airborne... it was fun.

I think the Aussie v8s is the most boring race series on the planet

It depends on the track.  Unfortunately most of the tracks in Australia aren't very conducive to passing, but when they go to some of the better tracks it's one of the best series around IMO.  The cars are grunty and big with enough power to be impressive and difficult to control, yet don't rely so much on downforce they can't get within arms reach around corners.

The best motorsport series is MotoGP.  If anyone gets a chance to watch the 2015 Phillip Island MotoGP they should do so.

But while Ricciardo is in F1 that will always be my series of choice (followed him from when he was in junior categories).  Without the patriotic link though, I'm not sure I'd have much interest in F1 at all these days.  The cars are no longer impressive AND the competition isn't close.

It can be quite a procession for the most part. I still always like the biff and barge of the BTCC.

Give Goodwood or the master series,  only bit of car racing I watch on TV. What? Me biased,  no way! :)

After giving up on Project Cars, finding the force feedback not up to scratch I decide to try again with the new DLC.
After several hours of mucking around with the settings (using the Inside Sim Racing video as a guide) I am now very happy with
the results. Not as good as Assetto Corsa but good enough. Blasting the vintage BMW around the fantasy Bannockbrae track is as good as sim racing gets. Now I will just wait for the purists to start flaming. :D

The only thing I find is that you seem to be able to 'butcher' a corner but still get through the corner. Not sure that it is realistic but it sure is fun! Just like a video game ;)

haha I know your joking, but for the others, its the radiogram, pull down turntable! we don't use it that much for records as we have been using the new 1960s turntable in the other built in HiFi cabinet, but alas, that is now on my list of things to repair. (So the 1970s turntable has been pulled out of storage)
