I have opted for the Corvette this week, I have the fastest time so far , but only just!

Damn, been found out! Its the driver that's slow not the car ;D

Have to admit I forgot about the 80kg ballast and got quite frustrated in not getting the expected lap times in qualification and race 1. Still had fun chasing Rob who clearly was not having fun on the last corner.

Race 2 was better, some good battle including bump drafting my team mate  :)

Had to bail on race three as after 2 days of rain and no sunshine our household batteries were looking a bit flat. It is surprising how much power a PC, 3 screens, speaker system, pedal and wheels consume. It is by far the biggest consumer of electricity in the house  :'(

Congrads Brad, another dominant performance.

My perception of the corvette

Mael gets 80 kg penalty ballast.

Stupid yank tanks, just can't fathom the extend to the bonnet. Same thing happened the week before with Seanus where instead of just following closely managed to bump him off the road  :-[
Wally should post a replay of the accident. Was one of the more spectacular crashed in AC I've seen with poor Bacchulum barrel rolling down the road!

I made some setup changes to prevent what will from now on be called the "Killa Flick" an alternative to the Scandinavian flick   ;D   Made me slow but at least could stay on the round unlike my fellow late braking companions.

It looked spectacular in the mirror Killargorilla!

Congrad Brad. Thought I was doing well by lapping in the mid 31's during that second race. 28's weren't even possible in my mind!

Just put a time up for Willow Springs. Took 1/100th out of Bacchulum, but looking at the graph the speeds for each of us are all over the shop......
I expect a bit of nudging to take place at the springs...... :o

ALL contact is avoidable 8)

After 2 weeks of driving a Hiace around SA, I feel like I've completely forgotten how to drive!

I've given it a few laps to work on a rough set up, and provided I can get my act in order, I might be able to sneak a high 13 on a kamikaze lap

Driving a taxi in South Africa?  ;D

Don't think I'm abusing track limits, I've stayed inside the white line and hadn't received any cut messages...unless I went off

Apologies Bueller, not insinuating you abusing the track limits. I had the red square coming up from the PLP app in areas which I deemed would still have been within the limits, certainly compared to ACC. So more a mention to watch out to make sure drivers does get caught out in the race.

Bueller, what the hell?
 :)

Well all I can hope for is that PLP-App will record Bueller's lap as invalid. The App seems very strict around Suzuka. If not then we non-aliens are screwed!

Enjoyable racing! Race one was a bit mistake riddled, however the battle to get by Davo made it worthwhile.

Race 2 was just a battle for the whole race. First with Wally and then Phil until his tyres went  ;D Great fun.

Monza, a tale of woe and misfortunes.  Predictably turn 1 was chaotic with madmen late brake heroes but the worst were a pileup/parking lot at the second chicane, had to bail out onto the gravel to avoid other drivers crashing into me and causing damage. That left me 35th out of 36 and 5 seconds behind the pack.

With a shoulder shrug I set out to recover. A early pit stop to avoid traffic turned to add further misery as I emerged behind the 4th place driver which was having a horror patch, he must have over-cooked his tyres and could barely keep it on track!. As a lapped car I could not pass him, just had to watch the time count by.

Then, as by miracle, after the pit stops were all done I found myself in 18th and rapidly catching the pack containing Wally. And just as I was about to fly past them the blinking red light come on. LOW FUEL!!!  So with no hope to make the finish I slowed down, allowing the leader to lap me on the finish straight on his last lap. Meaning I go went over the line with 1 liter spare and still in 18th  ;D

You can always join in skipping the first chicane on lap 1. That way I'll just do a pit lane drive through while everyone else have to stop for repairs  ;D

Well I'm doing 1:46.7 for Monza and I don't think it is going to make the cut  :(
I hope you're kidding. I'm well off that.

Lol yeah, meant 1:49.7 !  Would love to be in the 46's  ;D
