If the  RENAULT R8 GORDINI  is not proving enjoyable I am happy to change to one of these cars or  another suggestion before thursday.

Peugeot 504

Porsche 550 spyder

Both version of the spider are cool :)

504 maybe TOOOOO slow. 550 is excellent. The Renault seems pretty good fun however.

I am happy to keep the Renault, but I don't want to use it if most hate it

If we are using the Porsche Spyder can the link be fixed please?

If the file is actually on Racedepartment please put that link up, not assetto corsa forum one please :)

Great fun in these cars tonight. Thanks to Phil and Guybrush for the setups to take the "terminal oversteer" out of the handling.

And a great innovation with the rolling start Phil! This will become a Thursday institution I reckon. It worked great first time and it was fun to see all the cars parading around on the out lap.

TY :)  I really liked the reverse grid also and am glad it worked :)

Yes, it worked really well, combined with the rolling start. With the momentum up already, it takes longer to catch and overtake people. Often, in a standing reverse grid, faster guys are in front after half a lap already.

Thanks for a great Thursday event.   The cars were unpredictable fun and the setups from Phil and Guy took out the "unpredictable" and kept the fun.
It was pleasant to have Sancho, 99% gentleman racer joining us, he did knock me off Grrr, but all okay. His spanish was crap though heheh.

+1 on the "Phil Start Method", simple and effective, love your work.

Off to watch some of the replay....
