Edit - They are V2
If i am not allowed to post this I will remove it.
Ordered my new pedals this morning and thought i would sell my spare set and post it here before I ebay.
Selling my Fanatec pedals V2, excellent condition, has spare mainboard, sensors and dampers, It also has the mugen damper upgrade (just some dampers of a mugen R/C car that happen to fit, can google it ) Could nearly build a second set with the spares if had a frame and pedals.
make me an offer :)
-
Big question is : what did you order??

Keeping my fanatec v3 for now as spare
-
Wow...
-
I know i have a pedal problem :)
-
Interesting. I had put the Fanatec v3 and the protosimtech in the save category cost/quality speaking...
-
Maybe you want to mention a price...
-
well i have found v1 for sale for around $150 and v2 as high as $250, and I payed AU$299.95 on the 30/04/2013 and used until 18/06/2015. so with all my spares somewhere in between those numbers with the buyer paying shipping, new v3 are AU$499.90

Phil, I'd be interested in comparison between these and the Fanatec v3 pedals. They are very similar in price aren't they?
-

I don't know, but I would imagine so. Surely any game just takes raw input, on a scale of 0 to 65535.

That's an odd number. ???

That's an odd number. ???
Not in IT. It's the biggest number you can represent with 16 bits.

No, it ends with a 5, that's an odd number. :P
-
I have found out that assetto corsa only uses DirectInput
Some quote I found
The 2 data types are Raw and Direct Input. As I understand it the Direct Input has something to do with the
basic Windows calibration of your wheel/joystick. While Raw shows data direct from the wheels sensors.

Right. Direct Input is Microsoft's development tool for accessing controllers. It would make it a lot easier to work with multiple types of wheel hardware.

Your looking at the wrong end, counting starts at cypher/zero.
Ask Wally what happens if you add 65535+1 in 16bits.

I wish.. :'(

That is a mean looking bit of kit....
-
Amazing set. Lots of envy.
I am looking for an upgrade at some point, hut I am not sure your v2 pedals are what I'm looking for. I am mostly looking for something more... realistic and flexible than my fanatic gt2 wheel. I was exploring osw, but I am not the DIY type of guy and the budget required seems to be too large otherwise (HSR says I would also need to "upgrade" the rig as it apparently could not handle the torque).
I am wondering whether those of you on fanatic csw wheel and pedals really recommend them...

There was a rumour of a Thrustmaster direct drive wheel - am I remembering that correctly?
