Hey Wally.
Looks like the internet is down here in the norwood area. Telstra service status says it won't be back up till 6pm tomorrow. I guess that means i'll be out again tonight. 20

Thought I'd have a reasonable night last night but screwed up early in both races. First race I ran wide and second race I missed a gear into the last corner and had no option but to drive straight into the gravel trap. I seemed to have a lot of trouble at the start of the race with cold tires and a heavy fuel load.
Race 1 was dominated by a cool fight against Chap and race 2 against Wally. Thanks guys. Finished lower than I wanted to but like Imola I also have a hard time at Brands Hatch. I doubt that will change . 22

Fun night for me too.
Race 1 I think I ran wide in turn 1 early giving my place to Bacchulum and then tried my best to keep up with him for the remainder. Never really able to make a move to pass but really chuffed I was able to stick with him. Passed Stan in the pits and just waited for him to come back at me but it didn't happen for some reason. However, I also got lucky early with a couple of accidents damaging a couple of the fast guys and pushing them back. Race 2 got lucky again after I bogged down at the start but made up some places after a bingle ahead gave me some extra spots. After a while seemed to settle down into 8th place but switched off twice at the same corner in the last two laps handing it over too Rob and ended with 9th. Easily my best result of racing with two top ten finishes and an overall 5th. Will gloat for a bit until the faster guys eventually push me down the order next week. I think I like your second idea personally Wally as the guy that finishes ahead of me regularly would definitely be the one I'll be trying to beat. Or maybe the guy ahead of me in the standings? 23

I think some moves are inherently risky. Most of the faster drivers pull off what I consider traditional passes on me where they either get me clean on entry or exit. However, occasionally it feels like you're treated like an AI driver and all you have to do is barge into half an opening. This is why I usually give lots of room because it's either move aside or risk closing the door on a move and getting pushed out. If you're on the inside chances are you'll not get the worst consequence.
Is it the pointy end of the season and therefore more risks are taken to get the extra points? With the first video I feel sorry for Viper the most as he did leave plenty of room and came off badly. To me the track was narrowing at that point and 3 wide in? I don't know. Arguments could be made both ways. I do know that everyone behind would've eventually got me a few corners later. 26

Is this the track download or just the osrw mod. The game says I haven't got the track and in the folder data and skins are missing.
Cheers. 27
Australian Assetto Corsa League, Tuesday nights / Re: S11R3: Zandvoort Post-race chat« on: April 27, 2016, 02:04:35 PM »Im wondering if the few guys that are a couple seconds slower then others are using tc here. Tc in pretty much any street car is a performance killer and these cars have so much grip you just need a little throttle control to keep it in check when turning or changing direction. I used TC in the first race as I did no practice so was always going to be off the pace. Turned it off for race 2 n 3 but still can't keep up with you guys. I have worked out that there's only three things I need to improve on to be able to compete with you guys though. 1. Steering 2. Acceleration and 3. Braking 28

Sorry Wally but I have to pull out of tonight's race. Had sinus surgery last week and still not up to it. Thought I'd make it but not quite right yet.
